Author has written 4 stories for Harry Potter, and Bleach.
So...I know People want to know when I’m going to finish this, I do want to, I just really need to get my head in a good place.
I’ve re-read the first two stories to refresh my memory, I need to start on this one now. I will admit that the Bleach ending Kubrick gave us really soured me somewhat so I needed a bit of time to get over it.
So please, bare with me a while longer, and thanks.
I know -- I've been gone for awhile.
I am sorry -- I really do mean to finish the story, I just haven't had time. I've sort of had a promotion at work, which means OT...that, which when paired with trying to get a small side business up and running, has left me no time to write.
In addition, the sound card has gone on the computer. It is luckily still under warranty, so once I get things sorted here, it will need to be sent in for repair. Again.
It's enough to make my brain hurt.
So please, try to bear with me for a little longer...
So finally the computer issues are over! A working computer - YAY!
I had to rebuild the beast from scratch, so that's what took time...parts can get expensive. The old one was decent - but trying to figure out what was wrong with it was giving me a migraine. Only a few original parts remain - the graphics card, the monitor, the DVD drive (one of them) and the data hard drive. All of the BSODs killed the boot manager on the old hard drive, so I had to put in a new one. I can still access most of what was on it, it just won't boot into Windows. Everything else - motherboard, RAM, processor, power supply, even the case - is new (okay, well, the case isn't 'new' - I've had it a while, just never got around to swapping it out).
Luckily everything I was writing was on a separate flash drive - which I immediately disconnected as soon as I started having problems, so everything was safe and protected.
I just need to read through Chapter 23 once to make sure I remember everything (believe it or not, I was planning on uploading that chapter when the computer crashed -- so it should be good to go) and then it will be up.
After that... there may be a bit of a break as I reread through things, because I need to refresh my memory a bit. No trustworthy computer, no story. The old Mac has developed a nasty tendency of suddenly selecting large paragraphs of writing and - deleting them. So there was no way I was booting the drive up on the Mac and chancing losing a lot of writing.
So bear with me just a bit longer -- almost there!
02-09-2016 -- Okay, I am managing to update this on my iPad, so forgive me if there are too many mistakes.
I know there hasn't been an update in a while, but that's because the computer crashed. I am trying to fix it, but every time I think I've figured out what's wrong with it, it fools me and blue screens again (and never the same * screen)!
I am finally having someone else look at it so fingers crossed...
