Poll: How many of you would like to see more stories by me? I was thinking about posting a collection of snippets from the various ideas I have, but I'm curious if anyone would be willing to read something like that. Vote Now!

Yo. I'm still focusing on my Fate/Stay Night - Bleach crossover, though I have plenty of ideas for crossovers and other stories that have started and been put on the backburner. I can also help authors with ideas and refining things, but my time is pretty limited these days, so I might not get around to everything as quickly as I used to (or like). At long last, I have a job! WHOO!! And with it, my free time vanishes. Le SUCK!! Inspiration comes and goes, so I might stop writing when the well runs dry until it sees fit to strike. This comic sums it up nicely: http:///index.php?strip_id=78 Story ideas I have lying around. If someone wants to try writing them, go ahead and give 'em a spin: The Black Claymore: Bleach/Claymore crossover. While attempting to escape Hueco Mundo, Ichigo is thrown off balance by a stray explosion, tumbling with Nel through the Garganta, the void between worlds, and crashes into the world of Claymore during the start of the manga. He has to spend enough time there for Nel to regain enough energy to open a portal home. Until then he travels with Clare, who he meets by accident, eventually teaching her to harness her yoki as a Vizard. Might publish eventually, but damn it if canon makes this one hard to justify. Prototype Artemis: Bleach/Prototype crossing, IchiTats. After the fight with Orihime's brother, Tatsuki Arisawa has started to see ghosts more clearly. Turns out that's the least of her problems when Alex Mercer, having escaped New York with the Blacklight virus, is killed during her evening jog. As a witness, she is eliminated, but not before being given the virus by a dying Mercer. She wakes up with incredible power and faulty memories. Has a decent start, but I'm trying not to go too fast with the crazy idea. Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Devil Inside: A rather spur-the-moment plotline, I thought I'd try a NGE/Devilman crossover with a simple premise: Shinji Ikari arrives at Tokyo-3 hiding that he is in fact Devilman, possessing the power of Amon, the Lord of War and thus has a hell of a backbone (ha, punny). Fighting both Heaven's Messengers and the Legions of Hell, the Third Child has his hands full as he tries to save the world on two fronts. As far as I can tell, it's a remarkably compatible mix, and I'm kinda surprised nobody's tried it yet. A Wolf of a Different Kind: Rosario+Vampire/King of Fighters mix. Rock Howard replaces Tsukune Aono, attending Yokai Academy at the behest of Terry Bogard after the Headmaster agrees to assist in controlling Rock's evil bloodline. The Wolf Cub will have no shortage of excitement learning amidst vampires, werewolves and other mythical nasties. I like the premise, and I plan to use this as a lighthearted story to play around with whenever I get too serious. The Whole Hollow: Bleach AU, inspired by Panther King of the Shinigami, IchigoHarem. In a tragic twist of fate, Ichigo is killed in a car accident after his 15th birthday. Instead of going through standard Hollowfication, he does the unprecedented: he is yanked into his inner world, and with the help of his dormant Soul Reaper blood, kills his inner Hollow as it forms. He now has a Hollow's body, but a human heart. Knowing his form is monstrous, he conceals himself from all but a few, protecting souls from Hollows. And then he meets Rukia... I think this fic would need total rewriting, simply because I have improved so much compared to when I started it that I have written down almost makes me cringe. Unnamed at this point, a Dragon Age/Claymore crossover, set at the beginning of Clare's timeline and a year before the Blight in Origins. Shipwrecked while doing a job for the Circle of Ferelden, a mage washes up on the shores of the land of the Claymores. While he waits for the circle to track him using his phylactery, he opts to explore some, meeting Clare and changing EVERYTHING with his slowly growing power and experience. Though still in the planning stages, this fic might become my next big project, as I can see events leading into the Blight and even the Seven Ghosts going to Ferelden. King of Fate: A King of Fighters/Fate/Stay Night crossover. After the fire at the end of the 4th War, a generous donation of money and resources was given to the ailing city in a surprising humanitarian move by shipping magnate Rugal Bernstein. The Shinto district grew from its ashes into a major city, one far larger and more heavily populated than before. Shirou also has found an enthusiastic friend in Yabuki Shingo growing up. While Rugal's King of Fighters tournament is starting up in Fuyuki's arena, the Holy Grail War starts. Worse, a frightening group led by Father Leopold Goenitz, a contemporary of Kotomine Kirei, is moving to interfere with both tournaments. Requires major rebuilding of the way Nasuverse magic organizations behave due to the public knowledge of superhuman fighters and psychics, but it would be DAMN fun to write. Unnamed F/SN alternate universe idea based on a dropped Fate/Zero plotline. During their collective destruction in the middle of the fourth War, Assassin had a single member of itself outside of Rider's range who escaped death. With Kotomine's Command Seals gone from giving that last order, this lone Assassin struggled to remain in the world, suffering severe psychological damage in the form of pervading amnesia from the sudden, brutal loss of every other one of its bodies and minds. The young girl Assassin, normally an independent sleeper agent for her Master, eventually stumbled upon a dying boy in the middle of an inferno. In desperation at the edge of disappearing, she forged a contract, using the last of her strength to protect him until Kiritsugu found them both. Unable to sense the Assassin for what she was, he adopts both as siblings. From there, the ripples of change spread, as Shirou grows up with a larger family and a slightly superhuman "sister," Kuroko (Kiritsugu wasn't terribly imaginative with names). What would such a presence add to the War, especially if her identity and ties to Kotomine were uncovered? Another variant of the idea above being that Shirou IS the last, amnesiac Assassin, with Avalon serving as his "Master" in the sense of keeping him in the world much like False Assassin's tie to the Ryudo gate. His ineptitude in magic is only because what little prana he generates is largely used by Avalon to keep him manifested. The stress of the War uncovers his old skills bit by bit, leading to interesting possibilities. Stand Up Be Strong: BLEACH/JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Instead of Ichigo following Aizen's plan by becoming a Soul Reaper, Ichigo's spiritual power awakened in a very different fashion, along with Tatsuki, Chad, Orihime, Mizuiro and Keigo (yes, I'd include those two) develop Stands, which allows them to form a tighter bond and face the challenges of the spiritual more capably. The main thing that I wanted to try was putting the early cast in the spotlight and keeping them there rather than doing what Kubo did and putting a lot of potentially interesting characters on the bus. A Certain Demi-Fiend's Return: To Aru Majutsu no Index/Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne: We all know that the Imagine Breaker's true purpose is to hold back a horribly powerful entity within Touma, but what if that thing wasn't what anyone thought? When the alchemist Aureolus Izzard sliced off his arm during the Deep Blood incident, the seal broke and a different force was released at Touma's disposal: his old power and a few of his Magatama. He was the Hitoshura, the Demi-fiend that clawed his way through the end of the world and forced God's creation avatar, Kagutsuchi, to bring back his world. Still bereft of memories, he can no longer count on negating his enemy's powers, but has more raw power than he can effectively use without those memories. With an entity that dangerous running around, both the magic and science sides scramble to contain, recruit, or destroy him even if they don't understand what he is, while demons respond to his return eagerly for their own reasons. And yes, Lucifer does know Aleister Crowley and vice-versa. |
