There has been some confusion that my debut novel, Into The Dark, is The Hostage. I'm reposting the original fanfic to clarify I only reused the basic premise for Into The Dark. The novel is completely new , including all new characterization and plot. I regret pulling the fic and don't want Hostage readers to spend money on a book that's not what they are expecting.
