Author has written 32 stories for Gakuen Alice, Naruto, Kingdom Hearts, Fullmetal Alchemist, Soul Eater, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Vocaloid, Hetalia - Axis Powers, Kuroko no Basuke/黒子のバスケ, and Shingeki no Kyojin/進撃の巨人.
PROJECT TITAN RP idea taken from there.
Hello! Not sure what to write here but here I go: I'm a young writer who aspires to become a translator and therefore spend my time writing up little stories in English to improve it, for my native language is Spanish.
I roleplay most of the time on Tumblr, however, mostly active in the Dangan Ronpa RP community as R63!Ibuki Mioda and the Makai Ouji one as William Twining (closed group) and Metatron. Used to be a rather popular Armin Arlert, but my passion for SnK faded and he was left behind.
Most active fandoms at the moment are Dangan Ronpa and Makai Ouji, of course. May or may not write some fanfics for them, but I'm always open for requests.
At the moment my obsession is SDR2 and my undying love is Hinata Hajime.
Personally speaking, I'm really shy and awkward in general, but I'm anything but unfriendly, I think.
Meetings: KnB, AkaFuri. I AM ON IT. I SWEAR. School's being a real pain, though, and inspiration has left me for this story. I WILL CONTINUE IT. One day. Just remember that I warned you all of super slow updates, yes?
Stolen Kisses: Hetalia, HongIce. Welp. I didn't expect for anyone to ask for more. I love the support, but I'm sorry to disappoint those of you who want more, for I'm not really planning on continuing it any time soon.
I order you to love me!: KHR!, B80. I can't even look at this story anymore without blushing in embarrassment. I don't even know what possesed me to write that. Anyway, I'll continue it, I swear. One day. It's just that my previous computer loved to be a sadistic jerk who erased everything in my folders...about six times. When someone writes the same thing six times they are bound to get sick of it. So NO, I have not forgotten about it, but I lost the will to keep writing it. Sorry.
Five O' Clock (Three O' Clock sequel): APH, AsaKiku. I already have it all planned, but this story suffered the same past as the one I mentioned above. I'll start writing it again one day, but it will take a while for it to finish.
Kid's ABCs: SE, Death The Kid-central: I don't even know why people keep adding this to their alerts. I think it's pretty obvious I'm not going to continue it. (I'm sorry to everyone, especially you, Red.)
An interview with Di?
1. How about a brief introduction of yourself?
Hey! People call me Di.
2. And what got you into fanfiction to begin with?
InuYasha. When I was little I often read them and actually thought they were canon, haha!
3. What kind of fanfiction do you like to write?
Romance, haha. I do like writing Hurt/Comfort and Friendship genres as well. No drama, though. I am hopeless with it.
4. Do you tend to write the same pairings/characters? Or are you a fandom whore?
Depends, actually. I write Favorite Character x Everybody, but I mostly write the ones I'm most comfortable with.
5. What is your most popular fanfic and why do you think people like it so?
My most popular fanfic is "Three O' Clock," a Hetalia fanfic with the pairing of England and Japan. I guess people like it the most because it's the fanfic I have written the most details in, contrary to my usually simple writing.
6. Forget other people...what is the fanfic you've written that you're most proud of?
It's a tie, I guess. There's "A great wife," my favorite 8018 fanfic, because I remember feeling the most content writing. At that time, my favorite character, Yamamoto, was dying, and then miraculously received help and he came back as badass as always. I cried of happiness, and so "A great wife" was born. The other one would be my Spanish fanfic of FMA, "Ametistas y Dicroitas" which revolves around a sick obsession called Envy's love for Wrath (first anime). Definitely the angstiest thing I've written, and I love it.
7. Do you find writing easy? Hard? What are the most difficult aspects of writing?
The hardest thing is for me to get to work. I'm a very lazy person and although I have a lot of ideas, I only write when I'm truly motivated. One of the most difficult aspects is getting the characters, well, on character.
8. Write a few sentences or so of your favorite pairing or character.
I AM NOT MOTIVATED KTHNXBYE
9. Are there any fanfiction trends/cliches that you're sick of?
LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. When the characters have an instant chemistry right after meeting, too. I love it when it's only one-sided, though. Especially if it's somebody liking my favorite character (I'm biased like that), but when they magically meet each other's eyes from 1000 kilometers of distance and instantly "fall in love" I want to click that tempting little X in the top left corner of my computer.
There are exceptions, of course. I don't mind them finding an interest for each other right after/before even introducing themselves, but unless it's very well written and/or has a good motive for it, I generally dislike them.
10. Are you guilty of any of these? Or have you committed other crimes?
YES. However, to justify myself, in "Three o'clock" one of my most notorious fanfics for now and victim of those cliches, Arthur was only interested in a "lawl u r so wird imma stalk u nao" way, and gradually it became love.
11. What was the first fandom you wrote for? Do you continue to like/participate in it?
I think my first fandom was Gakuen Alice, but even before that I wrote of others. I still like Gakuen Alice, but I read some of the manga a year ago and I must say that my love for Mikan Sakura and Natsume Hyuuga went down the drain eerily quickly. Instead, my Shounen-ai-loving-mind turned me into a Natsume/Ruka fan, and my adoration for Nobara made me ship Natsume with her than with Mikan. Welp.
12. Name your OTPs or most frequently written pairings/characters and explain what it is about them that you love to write.
8018- I feel the most comfortable when writing Yamamoto. I absolutely love his character, and writing him serves as some kind of therapy for me, since he's always so carefree and nice, etc. I'm not an extreme fan of "opposites attract," but somehow to me, Hibari fit perfectly by his side. I simply adore writing them because although Hibari is not a gentle lover and is by no means nice, he is one of the very few people who knows Yamamoto's real self that hides behind his oblivious smiles. I could go on and on.
Other OTPs I have not written (but hope to, in the near future maybe) are Levi/Petra, Levi/Armin, Armin/Annie from SNK, Komaeda/Hinata, Hinata/Tsumiki, Hinata/Mahiru (well actually Hinata x every single SDR2 girl), Twogami/Ibuki from SDR2 and Dantalion/William, Uriel/William and Metatron/William from Makai Ouji.
13. What would you call your writing "style"?
I wouldn't really know. I like to think it's fairly simple, but I like to focus a lot on body language and expressions.
14. Do you read other people's fanfics? If so, what do you find yourself reading the most?
Before Tumblr roleplaying, I used to spend about 80 percent of my time in the computer reading fanfictions, haha! I read nothing but Shounen-ai and romance in general. Sometimes I get out of my zone of comfort if the stories are exceptionally good.
15. Name one thing you'd LOVE to write but haven't yet.
SO MANY THINGS I CANNOT COUNT. A COMPLETE multi-chaptered fanfic please.
16. Do you have trouble taking criticism? Or worse yet, do you have a really bloated ego?
I accept criticism, though it obviously hurts. I'm confident in my writing abilities, but I lack an ego.
17. When you write is there anything that helps? Music? Quiet room?
It depends on the mood. Sometimes I write with music, sometimes not.
18. What inspires you?
Other people. I like to think I write things that others enjoy as much as I do.
19. Lastly, how would you sum up your fanfiction experiences and yourself as a writer?
Eh, I still have a long way to go? Yeah.
