Author has written 3 stories for Shakugan no Shana, Sword Art Online/ソードアート・オンライン, and Aria the Scarlet Ammo/緋弾のアリア.
Greetings. I am Krawling KhaoS. Please refer to me as either KhaoS, or Onyx. I'm an aspiring artist and author that is currently working on a book that I plan on getting published in every now and again, as well as trying to get into a good artist college/university. I'm a slow updater, so excuse me if I go missing for a while. Life, you know?
Here's the answer for that: I don't know when it'll be coming out. Will I work on it in the future? Eventually, yes. Unfortunately, that's not going to be any time soon. I've been inactive here because of various real life problems that I'll go over briefly here. Basically, don't expect much in the way of stuff from me for a while. Why? I'll explain.
Basically, for a number of years, I've been depressed. Like, really depressed. It's actually a little more complicated than that, but I'm not going to bore you with the details. Things tend to happen that pull me away from the things I love doing (like writing for instance) because being an adult with a legitimately crippling brain is hard. I've had fallings out with close friends, which hurts a lot for a person who values their friends like the family they are. I've been trying really hard to rebuild my relationship with my family, since we had a falling out around the time I started actually writing NeuroBlade Online. I've been struggling to find a job, which has only had minimal success due to the aforementioned crippling state of my mental state. And finally, I've been struggling to get off my ass and go back to school so I can make something of myself in a career that I'll love.
The long and short of it is that I'm currently not capable of writing much beyond the hopeful commissions I've started on my Tumblr account. NeuroBlade will continue one day, as I still love the world of Sword Art Online, and I still love the ideas I had for fanfiction of it. I just can't write it right now, because of financial needs, and the fact that as a side effect of the medications used to treat my depression, I've had no energy to do anything. Hopefully, this will change in the coming weeks, but I still won't be able to focus on NeuroBlade until I've gotten back into the swing of things. I'm sorry to those who are expecting more from it, but right now, I'm not capable of it. I will return to it though, so it's basically just on an indefinite hiatus... like pretty much everything I've been writing.
Thanks for your (hopeful) understanding.
Complete = This fic is done.
Ongoing = I am currently working on this fic. If the word in «these», then it is my «Primary» fic at this moment in time.
On-Hold = I am working on this on occasion. If this status is on any fic, it means I will work on it off and on in-between Ongoing fics.
Hiatus = This is a fic I need to refine and restructure. It will continue only when the refinements are complete, whenever that is.
Planning = If you see a fic with this, it means I am in the midst of planning it out. How long I take doing that is all dependent on how many ideas I get for it.
Collab = This is a fic I am collaborating to create. These will be rare.
Cancelled = I have decided to end a fic because I didn't like where it was going, and it will likely be rewritten at some point.
NeuroBlade Online: Status - «On-Hold». A Sword Art Online tale that stems from my love of science fiction genre, more specifically cyberpunk. In this fic, Akihiko Kayaba, the creator of «Sword Art Online», doesn't make the game a Death Game like in the original series. Instead, he waits two years, and in that time, develops a whole new game on a whole new engine, titled «NeuroBlade Online». The game has its own mechanics, and has a forum that can be accessed on the Fandom Nexus in the Sword Art Online forums. Currently in Act 1 of 3.
Shakugan no Shana Azure: Ember To Inferno: Status - «On-Hold». Act 1 of an Alternate Universe telling of the Shakugan no Shana story. It was something that had been conceived in my mind after years of thought. It is a story where some principal foundations of the universe are slightly altered. Also, the story is a story where the laws of causality come into play. It is the first series I am having beta-read, so I have a higher standard of quality this time around. I plan on working on this for the next little while.
Void of Scarlet Fire: Status - «On-Hold». A Re-Write of Fire in the Void, with 100% more Hidan no Aria. I initially wrote the first chapter JUST as Shakugan no Shana Final was airing, so it's an older story. I thought of the plot after Hidan no Aria ended... and I really wanted to include it into my previous attempt at a re-write of my first fic posted here... so yeah. It won't be updated nearly as much as Shakugan no Shana Azure... but I will try to update it as much as I can as quickly as I can. This is written to have long chapters after all, so don't expect frantic updates.
Fire in the Void: Status - Cancelled and being rewritten. The reason for this is I was unhappy with the direction it was headed, and I felt I have improved in my writing abilities since then. Sorry. If you wish to find the remake, it will be titled "Void of Scarlet Fire", and will be labelled as a Shakugan no Shana/Aria the Scarlet Ammo crossover rather then a Shakugan no Shana/Familiar of Zero crossover, as I'm incorporating Hidan no Aria into it. Also, it will feature a whole new, more detailed, more thought out plot.
Sonic Underground After: Status - Cancelled and may eventually be rewritten. My love for the Sonic franchise has dwindled a little bit. I mean, I will EVENTUALLY write a story about ManicXMina, but only time will tell... I mean, I still love the series, but still... I am actually in the process of writing another one, but I put it on the back-burner for now.
Caught in the Cat's Cradle: Status - Cancelled. This one is being reworked with better pacing and an over all better plot. Ah, the story that everyone seems to like for some reason. The number of people who like this series is just plain insane, seeing as how i only expected a few people would like it... and the following it got from just 2 chapters was great. But I kinda feel as though I rushed along with it just to get Spidey and Black Cat in each other's pants... err, tights? I want to rework it into a proper story with more plot and better overall pacing. Sorry to those who liked it, but i want to fix what i found wrong with it. The title for the remake is still in the works, but will probably be something on the lines of "Black Spider" or something...
More to Be Added on a Later Date...
