Author has written 14 stories for Harry Potter, Fairy Tales, Avatar: Last Airbender, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, and Alice in Wonderland.
I am mischiefmanaged73 and I love fanfiction. I enjoy seeing what others have the characters we know and love do in a large variety of situations.
My writing style:
- I enjoy writing whatever comes to mind, so if I come up with a case of writer's block, I warn you that any story I write won't be updated for a while.
- I'm willing to 'beta' anything Harry Potter or Avatar: The Last Airbender, or co-author anything in the same categories.
- Currently in the works is a piece of original fiction, so fanfiction is sort of on the back burner, but not really. If I have an idea it will be written and (most likely) posted.
Statuses of Current and "Coming Soon" Stories (in order of publication):
"All in a Name" (Harry Potter)- previously "Memoirs of a Dark Lord"; complete
I was feeling really angsty when I wrote this and did have intentions of continuing, but it just never happened.
"6 Word Stories: A Companion" (Harry Potter)- in progress/ on hiatus, but looking for a beta
I really liked the first prompt for this and I'm working on the others, but they're not coming very quickly.
"Rumpelstiltskin" (Fairytales)- complete
Eh. Not some of my best work, but I found it and thought it'd be interesting to post.
"A New York City Fairytale" (Fairytales)- complete
Same thing as "Rumpelstiltskin".
"Earthbending Secrets" (Avatar: The Last Airbender)- complete, for now
"Beginning of a Friendship" (Harry Potter)- complete
"Time Travel Confusion" (Harry Potter)- complete
"One Week" (Percy Jackson and the Olympians)- complete
This is probably the story I spent the most time on, simply because of the length. Instead of posting each individual drabble, I had to write over twenty of them at once. I do think the final product is pretty good, though.
"Priori Incantatem Limbo" (Harry Potter)- complete
Complete insanity. The fruit that comes from watching "Goblet of Fire" at school with friends and food.
"The Scarves That Distinguish" (Shakespeare, A Comedy of Errors)- complete
School project. It is fanfiction, after all.
"The First of Many" (Charles Dickens, Oliver Twist)- complete
Same as above.
"A Hogwarts Hanukkah (and other holidays)" (Harry Potter)- in progress
A simple discussion about Harry Potter turned into a "what if" kind of thing. Voila. The chapters I've written so far have been really fun to write.
"The Dame Yonder" (Alice in Wonderland)- complete
School project that happened to be under the fanfiction category as well.
"Routine Quotidien" (Harry Potter) (French)- complete, but open to corrections
My first attempt at writing in French. Most of it uses vocabulary from what I was doing in class and it isn't very long, but I'm still correcting it.
Je sais que "Routine Quotidien" n'est pas correcte avec les verbes, mais des gens m'ont dit et je veux le corriger. Si vous avez un commentaire, envoyez-les moi et je peux l'améliorer.
"Hermione's New School Supplies" (title subject to change) (Harry Potter)- in progress (unpublished)
I would think it would be hard for a muggleborn to get used to all the wizarding supplies, especially an eleven-year-old.
"A Fateful Afternoon" (Glee)- in progress (unpublished)
The timing just seemed so eerily... right for some events in the characters' pasts.
"[Untitled]" (Big Bang Theory/IT Crowd Crossover)- in progress (unpublished)
A discussion about how Sheldon and Moss would get along turned into a whole series of "What if?"-type things and voila.
"The Deathly News" (title subject to change) (Harry Potter)- in progress (unpublished)
What did the Muggles think about James' and Lily's deaths and Harry's apparent disappearance?
"[Untitled]" (Sherlock)- in progress (unpublished)
John has some difficulty in waking up Sherlock after a late night of case-solving.
