About the fanfiction:
Mostly, I can see myself positing in generally specific fandoms. Primarily, most likely, Digimon, thanks solely (almost) to The Digiverse on livejournal, where I am the resident Koushiro, and where you should go and look around, for it is wonderful and supportive and just an amazing community all around.
Considering that I will be writing mostly Digimon (again, most likely, I can't tell you where I'm going to be anywhere in the future, so this could change radically and without notice), I guess I'll talk about that for a minute, until something tells me to shut up, or something else strikes my babble-fancy.
My OTP, as aforementioned, is Taishiro. Unlike most people, I guess, despite the fact that it is my favorite, it's not the only pairing I like, and it's not the only pairing that I can see working for both parties involved (and I may or may not have a weakness for Daishiro, Taikeru, Koumi and I really could continue with that). I'm totally unconcerned with slash, het, or clashing hair colors, assuming that whatever couple makes sense. It is apparently in this area that I differentiate from what is apparently the generic "yaoi fan". And an area I have to defend myself most regularly. It's one reason I don't categorize my fic as yaoi, but as slash, because for some reason I feel safer.
There are, to jump back on that tangent, only two real "couples" in Digimon that I have issues with: Taiora (because Sora bores me to death, and she should just go date Jun already) and Taito (and sometime Jyori, because that age difference is quite frightening to me). This kind of makes me a strange person in the digi-fandom, but I always consider Taichi and Yamato a little too much alike in my mind's eye. I could see them, even, in some ways, getting together, but I can't really see anything solid or lasting coming from it, just fireworks. Yamato's too closed-off and Taichi's too needy, they're both too defensive with one another, and it just...would not end well. Or I can't see it doing so anyway.
And I suppose, to be honest, as much as I'll dip my toes into the angst-pool, I only do so for the sake of plot and character growth. I admit that I love conflict, but in the end, sometimes all I want is some fluff.
What's been/being posted:
Working Out the Kinks: Erm, yes. The first lemon I've ever written, and also the first of...er...many things that take place in the 'fic that I've ever written. Totally experimental, but probably also something I've come to rather adore. From my friends/community, I've gotten a generally good response, so I figured I could dare slap it out here as well, and I hope that you all like it.
Reality: Reality isn't so much the title of the fic as it is its handle, and I figured I'd mention it as I'm probably going to be mentioning it randomly around the place. Completely A/U retelling of the summer in Season 01 in Digimon, where there is no Digital World, but our favorite heroes end up over their head in trouble in any case and...yes. I should just say: Reality: Why Keni shouldn't be allowed in Criminal Psychology and Childhood Development Psychology at the same time.
More to come, though, I promise. I've been writing like a fiend as of late. But, yes, work, soon, so I'd best get posting, or I won't get the chance.
