Hi! I'm Katie, aka LovingEmmett. As you can see I love both Twilight and Emmett very much. I doubt I'll be writing many stories with cannon couples not because I don't love them, because I do. But because there's SO many of them. I like to be different so I write non-cannons for those readers who like a little variety like me!

My thoughts on Twilight:

My favorite character by far is Emmett! Jasper comes in a close second but only in the book! I didn't like him so much in the movie. Something was off about it. But he might get better as the movies go on. Who knows? I love Alice too. She's just so happy and adorable. They casted her well in the movie, in my opinion. Edward was okay in the movie, but I don't think they developed him as well as he was developed in the book. I highly dislike Bella in the movie though. I love her character, but the actress just didn't pull it off right in my opinion. When she talked, it came out kind of awkwardly. I think everything else about the movie was good except for some minor things here and there. Like the first time Carlisle appeared, he looked completely plastic, like a blond Ken doll or something. But like I said this is all my opinion!

My thoughts on New Moon:

AMAZING!! Taylor Launter is the sexiest man ever!! And Jacob is my new favorite character (at least when he wasn't wearing the wig). Kristen Stewart did better in NM than in Twilight, I think. Except when she was screaming in her sleep, she sounded like she was in labor. I didn't like Robert Pattinson too much though. He was still too stiff and kind of awkward looking. Emmett is still one of my favorites. He doesn't speak nearly enough, which makes me sad. Alice was pretty good, but I think they need to work out her wardrobe a little bit more. She's supposed to be like all-knowing about fashion, and some of her outfits were just plain ugly. Carlisle was better in this one... less plastic I guess you'd call it. The other wolves were... okay, I guess. I didn't find Sam attractive in the slightest, not to be judgmental or anything. I just imagined all the wolves being so much more attractive. And my love for the pack probably surpasses my love for the Cullens sometimes, so I was hoping for a little bit more eye-candy and a little bit more in depth about the characters. At points, I wasn't sure which wolf was which, and that annoyed me. However, other than the hotness of Taylor Lautner, Paul and Jared (or at least who I thought was Jared) were pretty good looking. Anyway, um, Jasper was a wee bit better in this one. I still feel like something's not right with his character. They got the standoffish attitude down but something is missing. I've seen the movie twice now, and I'm ready to see it again. I loved it a lot. They stayed with the book a lot better than in the Twilight movie.
