I created this account seven years ago today. I was fifteen, a sophomore in high school, and I was just about to take my driver's test. I'm now twenty two, a graduate student who's just a year and a half away from being considered a fully independent adult and joining the working world. This account has played a huge part of my life within those seven years; I love each of my fics (including the ones I took down ages ago).

The Hogwarts High series reflects so much of my own high school experience that it never fails to make me laugh, and to this day, I'm impressed with the characterizations (though they deviated so much from the original characters) as well as the world I created. I believe Hogwarts High spawned a plethora of copy cat fics; it's popularity exceeded my wildest hopes for it when I first started posting it, and when I posted the first chapter of HHII, I believe I received close to 100 within the first couple of days. It was an immense compliment.

Harry Potter was an Only Child was the first fic I finished and is arguably my second most popular fic after the Hogwarts High series. It's also the fastest fic that I wrote. The story flowed so easily for me, the characters appeared so vividly that sometimes I felt like they were writing instead of me. Sometimes, I think that this is my favorite story.

Dream On was another popular fic that I managed to finish, though I had lost my steam by the end, and it therefore never lived up to the potential of what this fic should have been. I'm still proud of coming up with the idea for it. It was original.

Anthem and its rewrite The Small Print are also at the top of my favorite list. Anthem has the same feel as Hogwarts High. The Small Print marks the time when my writing started to improve, where I started really developing characters and writing the details out instead of relying on dialogue. Unfortunately, I was never able to fully piece together the plot.

I'm most proud of Age of Consent. I tackled an era that's highly ignored in the fandom, and I developed personalities for three characters that canon gives little information about, and even managed to develop likable and non mary sue OCs. If I return to any of my fics, it'll be this one.

Yes, that's right, I'm saying goodbye. I love my fics, but it's been months since I've even thought about writing more for any of these. The longest I have gone before this was 3 months...it's been almost seven. This account will stay here. My fics will stay up. I may even poke my head in from time to time to say hello. But this account represents seven years of my adolescent life, and I'm moving on. I'm writing under a new account, and if any of you would like to know my new account, PM me and I'll tell you. Otherwise, thank you for reading my fics. I hope you enjoyed them.
