The most collective question asked I think would be “Who are you?” does anyone truly recognize the answer? Every day we strive to better ourselves, learning from mistakes made by others along with ourselves. Our knowledge progressively increases with every book read, every word spoken. We grow each day as individuals, constantly changing, heading for a path that may seem impossible. I know who I am as a person; my likes and dislikes, my points of view, style of dress, and the ability to look into a person and see the good in them.
But people say that doesn’t state who I am. Why? I don’t believe my mistakes do. I just know of a bunch of ways on how to not do something. I study, learning new things every day, but this isn’t who I am? I think it is. It may have taken me twenty-six years to find out, but I did. How many of you can say that?
Music is the expression of one’s soul. If done right, it can bring out emotions that you keep hidden. Music is a thunderstorm, the beat of thunder, the base of wind, the leads of lightning, and the vocals of rain. Music keeps me sane. It is my escape from the harsh world that we live in.
I am a hippie at heart. I don’t believe in meaningless war. Everywhere I go I try to convey peace of mind, rather than mindless anger. I am a spiritualist. I strive to achieve enlightenment. I am a free spirit with an old soul. I won’t let anyone tell me how to run my life. I won’t let the social pariah that is society tell me what to wear, how to look, or what beauty is. Only I can do that.
The next time you say I am not beautiful, take a long look in the mirror. Beauty is not defined by outward appearances. It is who we are as individuals. It is how we chose to live our lives.
The next time you tell me I am a social outcast that I don’t belong. Well, you’re right about that. I don’t belong because I chose not to bring myself down to your level of inept competence. I chose to surround myself with those “social outcasts” and you know what, I am better for it.
You want to know about me? Take a look at who you are first before you judge me. I am who I am and I’m not ashamed of it. Can you say the same?
I write what I want, not worring about what others may think. If you have a problem with what I write, not message me about it, just dont read the story. If you love what I write that is wonderful.
Also I will be posting my disclaimer on here rather than every page of my stories. It bugs me when I come across them on others that I have read, so I'm not going to do so on mine. I DO NOT OWN TWILIGHT NOR ITS CHARACTERS!!!!!
