>:O I've just realised that for the past MONTH or so all my alerts have been disabled on my account so I haven't been getting reviews, alerts or anything from ff! Apart from being a bit upset that I've missed out on reading all the lovely reviews I've received, I'm truly sorry that I haven't replied! Since I have no clue when I stopped getting alerts, I can't really go back and reply to everyone, but I've tried my best to reply to some of you if I think I haven't already. Everyone else, I'm very sorry, it's not that I don't appreciate you, it's just that I'm deeply stupid and have been idly wondering why I've been hearing nothing from ff for weeks on end. If anyone needed anything important, please PM me and hopefully I WILL get the alert this time!
I'm very busy nowadays so sadly I have a lot less time to write and update fics. But hopefully everything ongoing will get finished, and the occasional oneshot might get written in moments of boredom, too.
Fanfic I'm co-writing (although the past tense might be more accurate since it's more or less done with) with my good friend figliedellatempesta: The Home for Abandoned Espada - go check it out!
Basic info on me: 20, Female, 3rd year Uni student. That's about all you need to know I guess.
Info on my fanfics: I tend to go for a lot of different pairings and themes, sometimes funny, sometimes introspective, occasionally a bit angsty, usually canon-ish and mostly brushing up against the fluffy side of things. I'm a bit fickle in my interests, so expect variation. I rarely write the same pairing twice unless requested and in the mood. For all my Harry Potter fanfiction followers, my deepest apologies, but my previously insatiable passion for HP fanfic of all shapes ahd sizes has died, and I mostly write in Anime/Manga fandoms nowadays.
The practical upshot of this is that those of you waiting for a sequel to Honour Amongst Snakes may have to wait for quite some time, but it is still on my list of future projects, and I have started writing it, so it will hopefully get re-opened one of these days, but for now it is no longer very soon on the agenda. Deepest apologies.
My Bleach fics are mostly slightly random. I ship Grimmjow/Nemu for some bizarre reason, so if you like odd pairings or are just curious, go read Kinks and Prospects of Violence and The Nemu Jigsaw. I'm also writing a multichaptered Byakuya/Yoruichi, Some Fall Softly, which will be a little bit bittersweet but sort of funny and interesting as well as more or less canon although I messed up the timeline a bit. I don't have much more to go for this one, probably just a couple of chapters, but I can't seem to get round to it just yet. Rest assured it will be finished one day, though. My newest addition to this selection is Rinse and Repeat, which is just a little oneshot about Tesla cutting Nnoitra's hair. Anyone else who loves those two boys will hopefully enjoy that little bit of cuteness.
I currently have two multi-chaptered Death Note fics: Light Follows After is now complete. It's quite a mix of different things; it started off as a serious crime drama, then a whole bunch of random jumped into the mix, then L and Light decided to start flirting with each other a whole bunch and I got sidetracked having fun with them, but there is a plotline buried in there somewhere and it does have some more serious themes in it too. I'm told it's worth reading, so please check it out :) and multitudes of thanks and virtual presents to all the lovely people who have reviewed.
Take No Prisoners is also Death Note, but it's more serious and very twisty, but since I can hardly seem to avoid writing fluff, there are some more humorous passages too. I didn't spend as much time on this fic as I initially intended, so the end is briefer and a lot less happy than it was meant to be, but I personally think it's rather good, although it tends to divide opinion. It's not really yaoi, but there's plenty of L and Light psychological mindscrewery to enjoy there, so give it a go if you feel inclined.
Oh, and I really recommend all the stories in my favourites, they're incredibly awesome and carefully selected from infinite hours of reading instead of working. Seriously, check them out.
And finally (if you are still reading) PLEASE don't hesitate to review my older stuff, I still love hearing feedback from those who have enjoyed it, have constructive criticism or any other comments to make.
