Author has written 4 stories for Twilight.
I have always been the kind of reader that wondered "what if" at the conclusion of any really good book or series, spending hours in speculation. I was not ready for the Twilight series to be over when I closed Breaking Dawn. There were way too many possible story lines to follow. I couldn't keep them straight in my mind so I started to write a few notes that turned into a few pages that turned into an actual story. What a boon to my self-esteem to discover thousands of like-minded readers. So, even if I really am pathologically introverted--spending more time in my head interacting with fictional characters than I do in the "real world"--at least I'm not alone. How ironic.
"Enchantment" is now available at Amazon dot com and BarnesAndNoble dot com as an e-book. (If you're reading this, you can read Amazon ebooks on your computer or smartphone, via their free reader application.)
I don't want to piss off fanfiction by linking to it directly, so just search for Charlotte Abel. (Gasp! I just revealed my real name!) As of June 21, 2011 "Enchantment" is rated 5 stars and has two fantastic reviews on Amazon, both of them from Life Sucks readers. My Author's page at Amazon has a book trailer and a more recent photo of yours truly. Check it out.

If you liked "Life Sucks and Then You Live Forever," you might also enjoy my new novel, "Enchantment." It's about a young couple's disastrous attempts to free themselves from the restrictions of a chastity spell. She's a mage on the run, he's a BMX racer that doesn't believe in magic.
(I just finished it last night night and it is now in the hands of my editor). You can see the cover and read a sample at ...
Dec. 6, 2010 Update on what I've been up to:
Thank you to everyone that's viewed my book trailer for "Enchantment's Curse" at youtube! Publishers expect authors to promote their own books and the more people that view, comment, like, subscribe to, and share this video, the more likely this story will find its way into print.
I will be forever grateful to the fanfiction community for giving me the confidence to share the stories and characters that occupy a large part of my brain. As a special thank you for your loyalty, when I finish the final draft of Enchantment's Curse, I'll write and post another chapter to either "Life Sucks" or "Revelations and Redemption."

Woo... Hoo... 2K reviews! Thank you so much!!! I can't tell you how much it means to me to reach that benchmark. And Congratulations to mysteryfan09 for writing the two-thousandth review! She reviewed all but three chapters (which is just freaking amazing!)
The title for most reviews posted goes to liljenrocks she only missed two chapters. I wish I could list every single one of you. But then the list would be too long for anyone to bother reading.
I've postponed work on my original novel to write the one-shot I promised. I am about fifteen-hundred words into the first draft, which is a good start, but I want this to be good so I'm not going to rush it. I should have a draft ready for my beta in a couple of days, then another day or two for the re-write... but that's only a guess.
BELLAFLAN JUST WON AN INDIE AWARD!! CONGRATS TO A GREAT AUTHOR/EDITOR!! I'M SO PROUD! (sniffs from tears of joy and unearned motherly pride... hey, she gave me credit for encouraging her when she was just a twific pup, so yeah, I'm claiming her as one of "mine" ;-))) Find her here... http://www.fanfiction.net/u/2092771/
She's the admin for a great C2 where you will find some of the more unusual stories... The award winning "Becoming Bella Swan" is rated M for a reason so consider yourselves warned. Her other great fic "Imprinted" has a very loyal following and is rated T (It's still pretty dang hot) the plot twists will keep you guessing and engrossed the entire time.
She is also my personal PROFESSIONAL editor for Life Sucks (She says so right on her profile... SHE'S MINE! ALL MINE!) I don't know how I got so lucky. So far we have the first five chapters edited and posted, we've both been reeeeeealy busy but we'll get back to it soon. I hope. So stay tuned!
Here's a great place to check out award winning stories, contests and awards... http://www.fanfiction.net/community/Twilight_Awards_Winner_Archives/72971/

OMGOSH! OMGosh! Oh. My. Gosh. “Life Sucks” won best original plot, and yours truely won 2nd place for best author at the Sparkle Awards! Thank you so much to everyone that voted for me and my story! I have the best readers/reviewers/friends (‘cause that’s what y’all are… wonderful friends that shared a remarkable journey with me.) Am I gushing? Why yes, yes I am.
I'm just so freakin' happy! I can't sit still or keep from screaming! (Pete was getting a massage downstairs when I found out and I totally ruined his hard-earned hour of blissful relaxation. He and his massage therapist thought I had hurt myself. It was soooo worth it!)
I don’t know how to thank you all except to pour this adrenaline rush and joyful energy into the epilogue for "Life Sucks". I’ve been blocked on it for so long I had almost given up hope, but I feel like I can get going on it again. Tonight. Hugs and Kisses to each and every one of ya!
Life Sucks and Then You Live Forever was selected as this weeks (Friday Sept. 11, 2009) Friday Recommended Review at
Alphasandimprints dot blogspot dot com
Be sure to check out her other wonderful recommendations, Nadia posts a new rec each Friday, so if you love stories about the wolf pack and their imprints this is the place to look.
For those of you who asked about the mysterious "Pete" that helped with chapter 17... he is the love of my life, and yes his real name is Peter and my real name is Charlotte. I may write a Peter/Charlotte oneshot sometime, but since SM did not spend much time on this pair in her books, I don't feel like I have enough imformation to spin a fanfic. I might as well just write an original story.
