I'm relatively new to writing fanfiction, though I've been reading it for years. I'm a forty-something female high school teacher living in the northeastern U.S.

I started off with what I thought would be a one-shot, Gibbs/DiNozzo pre-slash, called Post Obsession Conversation. Idea popped into my head after seeing the episode Obsession, and I had to run with it. After that, the plot bunnies started biting big time, so now, despite thinking I didn't want to get tangled in a multi-chapter fic, the sequel is finally finished. Entitled Figuring It Out, it explores how Gibbs and Tony move forward after that revealing conversation. The rest of the team plays pretty significant roles as well.

The sequel to Figuring It Out, entitled Second Law, is now underway. No promises regarding update schedule... having some problems with focus given the new puppy. But I will try my hardest not to leave you guys hanging for too long! I may also be updating Missing Scenes from the FIOverse when the mood strikes, and I have ideas for some more one-shots.

Several readers have commented that Tony and Gibbs are a bit out of character in my stories. I think that goes without saying since I'm postulating a romantic relationship between them in the FIOverse, and of course we'll never see that on the show. I'm not entirely in agreement on the issue of them being out of character otherwise, though... we've seen Tony's moments of maturity as well as his talent as an agent throughout the show's run, and we've also seen many moments where Gibbs gets emotional - he just expresses it in an extremely subtle manner. My stories tend to emphasize Tony's maturity and Gibbs' emotions, but I don't believe I'm creating them out of thin air. I certainly welcome debate on the topic, though!
