Author has written 32 stories for Sherlock, Sherlock Holmes, and Sleepy Hollow.
I enjoy taking a break from real life by writing. Sometimes I take a break from creating my own and borrow other people characters. I know, I shouldn't really. I should grow up (should have long ago!) and go and do something useful with my time. My husband and children (and friends - I mean you Cookie!) are very forgiving of my quirks and foibles, and I should pay them back by leaving writing alone for a little while. But oh, I seem to be here again. What a shame.
My creative time is very limited, so most of pieces are shot one-shots and waffling drabbles at the moment, but one day I'll get the chance to sit down and write a good old-fashioned mystery. This also means that my own self-beta-ing is not always up to scratch, so feel free to point it out (with due politeness and good manners please). I'd much rather sacrifice my pride than abandon accuracy.
Currently fascinated by the beautiful relationship (platonic/ dependent/ maybe a little tooooo close for comfort/ absolutely head over heels for each other) between Holmes and Watson/ Sherlock & John (of any incarnation). Sleepy Hollow also a favourite, and Doctor Who, Avengers, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter - hell, I'm a total geek apparently.
I now have an account on AO3 under the same name, so check it out if you like. Some of the works over there are different, thanks to FFnet's preferences, so be sure to check the summaries and ratings!
Ok, I just have to link to the illustration gifted to me for Angel. It is so cute I just want to squeeze it. I kind of wish this was how I had visualised it to begin with...
