So, after months of devouring fanfiction, I thought maybe I'd put a little something up here.
I'm a...something-something year-old who obviously doesn't like to discuss her age, who loves to spend way too much time reading about fictional characters, and who definitely knows better.
I have tons of stories on my favorites list, but don't let it fool you. I haven't read half the stuff on it...yet. When I find a story I like, I add it to my favorites as a reminder to read it later.
I will say, however, that I do have a few (okay a lot of) favorites, some for a particular reason, others just because I like them:
Anything written by ooohlalaaa (aka ohl) pretty much makes me squeal like a fangirl, and I might have shed a few tears when she pulled all her stories.
Other favorite authors (as in, I will drop everything to read absolutely every word they write, and I couldn't pick a favorite from their stories if my life depended on it.):
AngstGoddess003 (no one writes angst like she does.)
In addition to what my favorite authors have written, I also love these stories:
Bare by stella luna sky. Edward's a tortured artist, and Bella is terribly insecure, but they are exactly what the other needs. The way they break through to each other using colors is amazing.
The Price of Balance by averysubtlegift. Edward isn't a vampire, but he isn't human either. I just finished this one, and it was amazing. I don't even know how to describe it. It made me laugh, it made me cry, the ending gave me chills. Just when it seems like all hope is lost...just believe.
This is Not My Life by isakassees. Bella is kidnapped, along with Edward's daughter, by James, who thinks they're his wife and child. Quite riveting.
A Woman Scorned by Bella Baby24. Edward cheats on Bella, and she writes a best-selling book based on how she'd exact revenge. I'm pulling for these two to reconcile, but it could go either way, and that's part of the fun.
Fourteen by crimsonmarie. I don't even have any words for this one. It's about the torture of being a social outcast, and I'd be impressed with anyone who could make it through the first chapters without getting at least a little bit teary-eyed.
Abbracciare il Cantante by Bratty-Vamp. It's so sweet and so funny, yet so angsty. Jasper is hilarious, and Edward is so conflicted.
The List by LauraACullen. Not only does this one have some steamy schmexin' (later on), it's also really sweet, really creative, and even has Bella saving Edward a few times.
Master of the Universe by Snowqueens Icedragon. I'm rather embarrassed that I was so late to this party. But I'm pleased to say that Fifty Shades totally pwns my ass now.
Edward Wallbanger by feathersmmmm. The name alone should be enough to pull you in. Watching Wallbanger and Pink Nightie Girl navigate their feelings sometimes makes me want to pull my hair out, but I just can't stop reading.
Son of a Preacher Man by LaViePastiche. I'm still not sure if I'm Team Jasper or Team Edward after this one. Even when I want to hate, I can't help but to love.
Finding Bella by ekimmuh. Edward's a Dom. He buys Bella. But that's not even the tip of the iceberg. This one's more about the psychological side than the kinky side, but I'm still hooked.
Relative Wind by Mac214. Hot skydiving DILFward...with a twist. You'll have to read to find out what it is though!
The Naked Guy Upstairs by AngryBadgerGirl. From ABG's profile: Manwhoreward v. Straightlacedella. They're both clueless, and it's fun watching them try to figure it out.
I Only Want You For Your Body by fatallyobsessed. This one's a slow burn, but I love me some Surfward. And there's no annoying Mike, Jessica, or Lauren, which is sometimes nice.
How My Life was Ruined in 14 Days by moon.witche. Hilarious and just off the awkward charts. Bella is the girl with the plan. Unfortunately, she forgot to factor sex into that plan...and now her plan is going all to hell. It doesn't update very often, but it's still worth the read.
The University of Edward Masen by SebastienRobichaud. The writing is out of this world, and between angry Edward, scared Bella, and the transformation that follows as things progress, I'm completely in love with this story.
The Vampire in the Basement by michellephants. I wish I knew where people come up with these storylines. I have never read anything like this, but I'm so totally hooked. This Edward makes me want to just hold him and cry.
Tropic of Virgo by In.a.blue.bathrobe. This is quite possibly my favorite story ever. It has angst, drama, confusion, and lemons to die for. Damn. There's a scene involving honey and a belly button that I still go back and read from time to time. It's unbelievable.
Okay, that's enough for now.
