Author has written 15 stories for Mentalist, Elementary, and Walking Dead.
I've come to realize that I'm kind of writing fiction like I write other things: when I find a problem that I'm interested in that I don't think the original has solved, I try to work on it. If I stop being interested in the problems, I won't be writing.
I read mostly romance-flavored varieties, with at least a hint of steaminess. Primarily I lean toward crime dramas, but I'm not too proud to admit my anime habit. I also have an inexplicable attraction to Vin Diesel characters. And then there's The Walking Dead. Have I said I like The Walking Dead yet? I've just started to explore crossover titles to relieve the repetitiveness that can develop for really popular pairings.
Since I'm writing more, I'm trying to be better about reviewing more frequently. I do my best to say something meaningful. I also do my best to respond personally to those who are generous enough to leave a review for me (I group them and catch up every week or two). I like to correspond, so I send chatty messages.
I can also be found on tumblr, the Nine-Lives Caryl Archive, and AO3 with the same userid (imorca). I sometimes post fanfiction on tumblr that is exclusive to that venue.
Fiction writing is really hard, and I think anyone who tries it should get a big gold star.
