Salutations, citizens. If you found this lonely part of FF.net, stay a while and enjoy the peace. This is wolf country.
Take a look at the penname. Does anyone recognize where this is from?
My intentions here? To learn how to write, and to learn by writing for my fandoms and others, which I could enjoy. I won't call myself good yet (or ever, really. Look at the profile name.) but I'm decent. I just about never took writing classes, or paid much attention, but I read so much that my brain learns to write indirectly.
Ask me any question you want, and I'll try to answer it. Also, if anyone has an idea that they want someone to author, I would be more than happy to write it on behalf of them. The same goes for beta-ing anyone's stories. Just remember the guidelines please. Remember, if I name myself something, I'll have to live up to it as best as I can, no? My place as part of fandom is to serve you guys, so feel free to request.
My current main fandoms/bases are (in this order): Naruto, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Zelda. I check out others, though. Unfortunately, I don't do Harry Potter. There goes half of the visitors...
I'm wondering, why aren't there any fics on the Pein-Naruto meeting, where Pein finally sacrifices himself? That place seems to be full of opportunity for thoughtful, angsty, grand-scheme of life type fiction. If you're reading this, would you try one? Anyways, I'll keep on searching.
For my fanfiction ideas, there are regular ideas that I will write about. However, there are several scenes/plots that I dare not touch yet, for they have so much potential to touch the emotions and thoughts of the readers, and I admit that I don't have the current skill to write on these. I'll mention which fics they are as they come out though, so do keep updated. An example is the above Pein/Naruto talk.
NO slash, nothing over T, and no swears or major blood and gore. Just in case you didn't see, Absolutely NO Slash. There goes the other half of visitors...
My story so far...
Naruto really got me started on fanfic. In fact, Naruhina was what began this whole interest. Who doesn't love fluff? Naruto and its fanbase/dom taught me just about everything I need to know about fanfiction, and the big, scary world of fandom out there. I got my interest at distinguishing fanfics here, because of its huge fanfic count. The first fanfic I ever read is called Naruto's Awakening, and it was recommended to me. Unfortunately, it isn't updated for a long time. The Naruhina fluff in this was a jumpstart for shipping. So, I guess I'm that type of person...
AtLA was the fanbase/dom I got involved in while introducing Dandaman7 to fanfiction. By this time, I had been reading and analyzing fanfics for almost two years. AtLA got me started on the concept "shipping" (BTW, I'm a Kataanger.) as well as analyzing fics as a way to appreciate the base more. Kataang was the driving force and main ship of my learning for this period of time. Teaching someone really embeds the stuff you've been doing into your mind! I'm now a canon pairing shipper, as well as the most randomest crack pairings you can get. (Jom-Jom anyone?). And mentioning that pairing insures my section of FF.net stays desolate for the rest of all time. Along with the Kataanger part. Man, there are to many Zutarians!
Zelda is the newest base for me. The authors there are less crack ficky than the above two, and I wish there would be more Zelda enthusiasts contributing. Therefore, I spend most of my Zelda interests on fan websites, while keeping up with several multi-chapter fics. This, coupled with the Zelda theories, introduced me to theorizing, which I found extremely enjoyable. Zelda is a literal mine for theories, and what I've learned and experienced (OOT and MM) have confirmed me on this.
There are quite a lot of thoughts on this page, aren't there?
Anyways, it seems to be that no matter how fair they see themselves, shippers very much tend to be unfair! Heck, I know that I'll argue (maybe a little too much?) over Naruhina, and I admit that it is hard to be fair to Zutara. Slash is a totally different matter.
If anyone knows, the model for just about all Naruhina fics is Two Halves, by Damewren. Definitely, it is an epic.
-Now for a topic we have all encountered before. Crack. Not the drug, but the fiction named after the drug. Pairings don't matter to me. I'm not exactly sure what prompts people to write the most outlandish stuff they can imagine. You know what I'm talking about. Bad angst, exclamation points galore, and nakedness run wild through the whole thing. I just know for sure that there aren't many I can give a chance to.
-When Love is Gone (A note on this: I believe I didn't write his well enough, since the concept I was trying to portray was a very emotional one. I will write another fic like this, change the plot a bit or so, but definitely work harder.)
-The Hero's Death (finished)
When Love is Gone is removed, for a rewrite.
I am working on a new project.
They can't possibly be related.
