In All Fairness...
I am super, super guilty of putting off up-loading and up-dating, if only because it takes me a while to develop ideas and actually put words into print. So, anyone actually browsing this profile should keep in mind that I honestly have NO idea how soon I will BETA, update my current story, or how often I will upload things, in general. I will try to get stuff up when I can, but LIFE has the tendency to get in the way. Lame Sauce.
Anyway, for anyone interested, I tend to favor cross-overs over single-genre fiction, though they are known to happen. Also, since I tend to bounce around fandoms depending on the whims of my "Oh, Shiny" Story Muse, so I'm going to just leave it at that. DISCLAIMER: some of the series used to cross-over are relatively new and/or unfamiliar to me, so if you are the type to get offended by authors taking massive liberties with plot points or deviating from canon...
a) What are you doing reading fan fiction? I don't get it...if you're a stickler for canon, there is no POINT to reading a fan fiction since it will likely piss you right off...
b) You might not be happy with some of my cross-overs. Just saying.
Fair Warning: The series I DO know well (unless stated otherwise) are going to be rife with spoilers. So, if you haven't read all the books/latest manga chapters/seen the movie for whatever familiar canon universe I do use, you might not want to read until you've caught up.
JUST SO THERE IS NO CONFUSION...I don't believe in discrimination of any kind (including romantic), so some of my stories may include material those less understanding will find offensive. I might not always post disclaimers (why should I, when you don't have to post disclaimers for heterosexual relationships) regarding this, so you are DULY WARNED. If you don't read this, it's not my fault. I don't respond to flames, but I DO report abusive language/reviews to the Admin.
What you should NOT expect from my stories:
Plot points that exist for the sake of convenience. Even if it contradicts canon, if the plot point seems contrived, I'm canning it.
MPREG. Anatomy doesn't work that way. Even with magic, sperm plus intestinal detritus does not equal babies. The only exception would be in reference to ancient mythology, which references MPREG canonically. Otherwise...just no. So, please don't ask.
Harry Harems. Honestly, save for genres that approach the Harem idea with outright satire (like Ouran HS Host Club), it kind of skeeves me out. Honestly, Harry does not need to have sex with EVERYONE. Straight, gay, bi, pansexual, whatever...tastes still apply. It's not realistic, whatever the author's approach to sexuality, to suggest that he's attracted to EVERYONE, or that everyone is attracted to him.
06.07.2014 Stories In Progress
Untitled HP x Captain America/Winter Soldier (MARVEL Cinematic U): currently unpublished
Lily Evans was too clever by half, and twice the trouble-magnet. An accident with a Time-Turner lands her in 1930s London, where she meets the dashing George Barnes. She has no way of knowing how her accident would change the fate of her son, James Buchanan Barnes.
This is a Harry-is-Bucky story
"Recognizing Genius" HP x BBC Sherlock: Rewrite in Progress
A different start leads to a (somewhat) different life for a child that could have (would have) been known as Harry Potter in another time, another set of circumstances. The opportunity for Harry Potter died prematurely with the death of James Potter, but Tristan Holmes--son of Lily Potter (nee Evans) and Sherrinford Holmes--is another matter.
"Born of Chaos" HP x Thor/Dark World (MARVEL Cinematic U): one-shot, now tbc
A response to Anhkmorpork's "Loki is Sirius" Challenge:
As punishment for the Chitauri's invasion of New York, Loki is stripped of his Asgardian magic and his memories, and sent down to Midgard to live his live as a mortal. However, Odin did not consider the consequences of meddling with the embodiment of Chaos. Though Loki's magic is gone, his power over the forces of chaos is not. Instead of landing in the present as a mortal man, he rips a hole through time and space, where--against all probability--he is reborn to magical mortals as the first born male Black Heir, Sirius Orion.
