Hi to everyone who will hopefully read my fanfiction: my challenges and other forums can be found here: My Forums
SERIOUSLY, How many times do I have to say it?
"DON'T LIKE IT DON'T READ IT! DON'T LIKE IT DON'T READ IT! DON'T LIKE IT DON'T READ IT! DON'T LIKE IT DON'T READ IT! DON'T LIKE IT DON'T READ IT! DON'T LIKE IT DON'T READ IT! DON'T LIKE IT DON'T READ IT!"
There, I think seven times should be enough, right? (Yeah...right...)
(Copy and paste this into your profile if you agree that people need to get the message...but sadly can't.)
So, a lot of people continue to pester me about removing stories and coming up with ideas, only to scrap them: to those people, I say this.
I am NOT a professional writer - chance would be a fine thing - and, as should be obvious, I am NOT making any sort of monetary or financial gain from my ideas. I am doing this as a hobby and, as such, ideas come and go because that's all part of the creative process. If I manage to stick to one particular idea, great: if not, then it's MY choice whether or not I keep it up or decide it's reached it's limit...and whether that takes 1 or 100 Chapters to reach such a choice, it's MY choice, not yours.
Obviously, I'm sorry I disappoint people with how I do it, but it's better than most authors out there who have fifty or sixty different incomplete stories on my profile that people will then pester me to update when it should be obvious I can't.
I'm NOT perfect - nobody is - and I'm not someone like Lee Child, Tom Clancy, Kathy Reichs, Rick Riordan, Darren Shan, Cassandra Clare, James Patterson or even JK herself who can make so many amazing ideas and then goes on to make many more.
Trust me, I WISH I could make an idea stick to its perfect conclusion, but I can't.
Anyway, this is the ONLY time I'm going to say anything about it.

Also, after due consideration and trying - and failing - several times, I've reached a decision:
I NO LONGER ACCEPT REQUESTS FOR STORIES!
The one I'm rewriting at the moment IS a rewrite of a request, but whatever is new about it is all ME, not the requester.
So, again, just to be clear: I DON'T DO REQUESTS!

"Can you read my mind? Do you know what it is that you do to me? I don't know who you are. Just a friend from another star. Here I am, like a kid out of school. Holding hands with a god. I'm a fool. Will you look at me? Quivering. Like a little girl, shivering. You can see right through me. Can you read my mind? Can you picture the things I'm thinking of? Wondering why you are...all the wonderful things you are. You can fly. You belong in the sky. You and I...could belong to each other. If you need a friend...I'm the one to fly to. If you need to be loved...here I am. Read my mind." Lois Lane: Superman 1978 - played by the late, great Margot Kidder
"Imagination is more important than knowledge." Albert Einstein

"The only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed!" Lelouch; Code Geass
"I tried so hard to help, and all it's done is made things worse. Anyway, it doesn't matter anymore, because I don't want to play anymore. All it does is make you care too much. The more you care the more you have to lose. Maybe it's just best to go it alone." Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix
"I'm so old now. I used to have so much mercy. You get one warning. That was it." The 10th Doctor/David Tennant: Doctor Who
"Sooner or later, we all go through a crucible. I'm guessing yours was that island. Most believe there are two types of people who go into a crucible. The ones who become stronger from the experience and survive it, and the ones who die. But there's a third type. The ones who learn to love the fire and choose to stay in their crucible because it's easier to embrace the pain when it's all you know anymore." Sebastian Blood: Arrow
"I don't want to feel this pain again. I don't want to hurt or get hurt ever again, and you seem like someone who could teach me how not to." Thea Queen: Arrow
"There are people in the world who deal only in extremes and it would be naive to think that anything less than extreme measures will stop them." Amanda Waller: Arrow

"I believe that true focus lies somewhere between rage and serenity." Charles Xavier: X-Men First Class

"Everything you did make me stronger. It made me the weapon I am today. It's the truth. I've known it all along. You are my creator." Erik Lehnsherr: X-Men First Class
