Author has written 4 stories for One Piece, Harry Potter, and Hobbit.
What should I say here I wonder? I stare at the blank screen and can only think of how much I am inadequate at personal descriptions and how they are the bane of my existence.
Well, I guess as a first, I'm French, as the little flag on my profile certifies. I'm a grad student, researching about children litterature in French, Japanese (and soon I hope English-speaking) areas. And currently a bit lost as to what I should do of my future, but that's a whole other story.
People tend to think of me as a hippie and maybe a bit too much of a daydreamer for my own good and I certainly agree. I'd even add that I am one of the numerous victims of the Peter-Pan syndrom (as of late some psychologists studying the subject have found a fancy way of putting it, emerging adult) despite my best efforts, albeit maybe my choice of study wasn't the wisest choice in trying to grow up a bit like everybody seems to be expecting me to.
I guess my writing reflects in great part my personality: I try to see the humorous side of things, optimistic, but never forgetting to be realistic as well. However I have to say that I've grown very displeased with anything I write as of late and am trying to work on my style in the hopes to manage significant and hopefully positive changes.
As a final point I should say that although I read pretty much anything that catches my interest, I'm mostly interested in OCs. I consider it a real challenge for a writer to write a good story with an OC: not only do you have to incorporate a believable character in a predefined universe, but you also have to innovate and make the story original and different, put your little something in it, while respecting at the same time the canon and personalities of characters as they were written by the original author. It's a real piece of work, but if written correctly it can make for a really good read and I have never been happier than when I found a few such pearls on this website.
With all that being said, I think I've pretty much written everything of interest there was to write. I'll finish this saying that I am always happy to receive messages (even if I sometimes need a while to answer...) so should you feel like talking or chatting a bit, don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for reading
Diary of a Potato Bag - ONGOING
I know my updates are really slow and that many among the readers are worried about me dropping the story. I apologize for the wait between each update but I guarantee you all that I will finish it. No matter how many months it takes me to update, I still like this story and its characters too much to simply let it go.
In the meanwhile I thank all of you for your patience and sticking with me through each chapter. I try my best to answer the reviews and messages I receive but I confess I am not the most organized person on this planet (rather the opposite, really...) and if some of your reviews remain unanswered I hope you won't resent me too much.
Either way, I feel like I don't get too say it as often as I'd like, but thank you for all your support and encouragements. They do mean a lot to me.
