Author has written 8 stories for Twilight. Hi all, I'm a 30-something mom of three. I started reading Twilight fanfics here in the summer of '09 and got hooked. I am constantly in awe of the amazing outpouring of creative energy in this fandom. The women (& even a few men :) with the courage and inspiration to share their stories here have encouraged me to take up writing again and that just rocks my world! Now you can also find me on LJ for my Twilight fanfic and original fic: http:/// and on FaceBook as Rosmarina Starffn. Shooting Stars Entry for Slash Backslash 2.0 -- The meadow, a meteor shower, two men in love and the family they made. Edward makes a wish on a falling star and decides it's time to take what he wants. It took away a Judge's Pick award for Best Fluff. Here's the blurb Frenchbeanz wrote about it: Shooting Stars can claim to be the only fluff fic to make me tear up. Me. Tear up. From fluff. I know! The pairing is Edward and Emmett, and they go camping—a setting perfect for Em pranks and hawt outdoors secks, yes? You couldn’t be more wrong. Instead of going at it like bare hares, E is all worried about whether or not he packed enough, mentally listing everything they need and what they possibly left behind. Meanwhile, Em is playing with the kids. (Oh yes, I said kids. Stay with me here.) What I really like is the way it presents a normal family. They have all the same mundane, domestic chores to do, all the same anxieties about their kids. The only difference is these two aren’t allowed to get married. When you listen to E’s dreams and wishes, you realize how unfair—and frankly, heartbreaking—it is that this just isn’t an option for them. Not yet. And maybe not for a very long time. Shooting Stars is a sweet story that illustrates just how ridiculous it is to withhold the right to marry from a clearly loving family. One Way Ticket In Jan '10, I entered the Picture Is Worth 1000 Words contest hosted by Katiedid01 and Rosalynn. My o/s One Way Ticket got Judge's Pick. Check out the contest for some 1000 word gems. Check out the banner for One Way Ticket here: http:///341.html Sonata Bella is my first fanfic ever and was more of an experiment than a well-planned story. It's rated T because it's on the sweet and fluffy side, and I'm officially putting it on hiatus. If I come back to it, I'll probably do a complete rewrite because I've learned so much as a writer since then. Thanks going out to those sweet few who have reviewed, faved, and signed up for alerts. I have the privilege of being a pre-reader/beta for annetteskitty, a.k.a. danielgaleh00rs. We have a fun time crossing over Daniel Gale (nerdalicious RPattz character in the movie The Bad Mother's Handbook) with the Twilight crew. Keep reading and writing! ~Rosmarina |
