Author has written 1 story for Ouran High School Host Club.
8/7/2011- I am now accepting BETA requests again. So send me a PM if you are interested.
I've been on this site for a while now. I believe it to be about three and a half years, give or take a few months. I like to claim that my home archive was Ouran High School Host Club, buuuut, I'd be lying. My first ever FanFiction was a Prince of Tennis story that I co-wrote with my friend. I can't even remember what it was about!
I liked it. But, I had to delete it. There was something about it that I didn't like. Oh, yeah. It sucked.
Writing wise, grammar wise, spelling wise, plot wise, character wise. It was just... I looked back on it after I'd gained some insight on what a good piece should looke like, and I wanted to cry. I certainly didn't want that to be how Fanfiction saw me. So, I made up my mind to delete it.
I don't even remember what the title was. But now, I just call it ThankGodIt'sGone.
I guess I should leave you with a bit of personal information about me. So here it is:
I'm in grade 11. And, that, itself is an achievement, that I have survived through 12 years of school. Yes, I counted S.K.
I was born, live, and currently go to school in Canada.
I am fluent in English and have taken French Immersion ever since grade one. So I am also fluent in French too.
I really love reading manga and books. Now I don't want to be mean to all you Twilight, Percy Jackson, and Hunger Games lovers, but those books are terrible! They are poorly written, have unoriginal plots, and are driving stupid fads that are ruining society. Seriously, literature these days is getting worse and worse. You don't believe me? Well read the books on my favourite books list and then come back to me with an argument. You won't have one!
Anyways, here are my favourite lists:
Princess (HanSeung Won)
Gundam Seed (my favourite anime of all time. ATHRUN!!!!!!)
Band of Brothers
I HATE Glee. It has bad plots, bad acting, and overused teenage issues.
When I write, I drive spellcheck crazy. There are so many sentences that are underlined in green, saying Fragment, consider revising. And you know what I say? Screw you, spellcheck! Spellcheck is only right about certain things. Spellcheck is programmed to work one way--but sometimes, you just kind of have to go with it. I don't change it, because that's not the way I hear what I've written in my head. And after all, it's my writing, my story, my world. So what's spell check going to do about it, spank me? Ha! I'd like to see them try. Though, I am afraid that they'd send that little paperclip they used to use for spellcheck if they had to...
I have joined the Review Semi-Revolution: I resolve to leave at least one review on any fic of which I've read 10,000 words, regardless of the number of previous reviews, its age, or whether I have anything wittier to say than "Nice fic". On the theory that if I like it enough to read 10,000 words, I like it enough to leave at least one review.
If you enjoy reading a fic, that's easy to repay; just leave a review - reviews make authors happy. But what if you learn something from a fic, what what if it changes your mind? A favor like that isn't easy to repay, but what can't be paid back can often be paid onward. Blog the fic or tweet it or tell your friends, and someone else will get a chance to learn.
If you ever want me to read and review your fic, send me a PM. I will and always do, read and respond to all requests. It might take me a while, but I'll get it done.
