When i first heard of Twilight, I didn't really care what or who it was. When I saw the first movie, the first thing that popped into my head was, "Hey! It's Cedric Diggory!" I liked the movie. I didn't know it was a book. My friend ended up telling me about them, even when they have the freaky baby. I still to this day think that story line is so odd.

About three things i was absolutely positive.
First, Edward was a vampire.
Second, there was a part of him-- and I didn't know how dominant that part might be, that thirsted for my blood.
And third, I was unconditionally, irrevocably in love with him.
He frowned, "Three years?"
"Isn't it worth anything to you at all?"
I thought about how much i wanted this. Better to keep a poker face, I decided, and not let him know how very much that was. It would give me more leveage. "Six months?"
He rolled his eyes. "Not good enough."
"One year, then" I said. "That's my limit."
"At least give me two."
"No way. Nineteen I'll do. But I'm not going anywhere near twenty. If you're staying in your teens forever, then so am I."
He thought for a minute. "All right. Forget time limits. If you want me to be the one, then you'll just have to meet one condition."
"Condition?" My voice went flat. "What condition?"
His eyes were cautious, he spoke slowly. "Marry me first."
I stared at him, waiting... "Okay. What's the punchline?"
He sighed. "You're wounding my ego, Bella. I just proposed to you, and you think it's a joke."
"Anything you want."
But he let me go and slid away.
"Anything but that," I complained.
He ignored me, taking my hand and pulling me off the bed, too. He stood in front of me, hands on my shoulders, face serious.
"Now, I want to do this right. Please, please, keep in mind that you've already agreed to this, and don't ruin it for me."
"Oh, no," I gasped as he slid down onto one knee.
"Be nice," he muttered.
I took a deep breath.
"Isabella Swan?" He looked up at me through his impossibly long lashes, his golden eyes soft but, somehow, still schorching. "I promise to love you forever, every single day of forever. Will you marry me?"
There were many things I wanted to say, some of them not nice at all, and others more digustingly gooey and romantic than he probably dreamed i was capable of. Rather than embarrass myself with either, I whispered, "Yes."
"Thank you," he said simply. He took my left hand and kissed each of my fingertips before he kissed the ring that was now mine.
