Author has written 6 stories for Covenant, and Twilight.
Update, October 2011:
I PROMISE that The Return won't be one of those stories that never gets its ending, it's on its way...just going at its own pace.
I'm writing, I'm writing, I swear. I've finished editing the existing chapters of the return and there are a few things I need to add between a few of them, just to help the story development. Also, I've figured out what is going to happen so another 3-4 chapters then it will be complete. I'm a bit swamped so I don't think anything is going to get posted before December 2011, but please be sure that I am writing...School+EMT Class+Coaching+Tutoring on the side = Slow post process. As for Twilight stories? Oh man are the ideas flooding my head...there is no shortage, believe me. I just need to find the time to put pen to paper, but I don't think I could NOT write them.
I think it goes with out saying that I love them. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them. Encouraging words are always good things and if you have the time, I will always appreciate your reviews. I'm still fairly new to writing so I don't get many, but the ones I do never fail to put a smile on my face. I try to respond to every single one, even if you have left a review before. It's always nice to know that someone out there likes what I have put forth into the fanfiction universe.
Dear People of the World:
You nod your head yes and shake your head no.
Defiantly and definitely are completely different words. Sometimes Spell Check is not enough.
As an avid fic reader, I find that the use of parenthesis is distracting, especially when used for a mid-fic AN. There is nothing wrong with using commas or italics in place of the dreaded ( ). Trust me, sometimes it can ruin the whole fic experience.
For those of you reading The Return:
In case anyone was wondering, Willow's bike is a '09 Heritage Softail Classic
I promise that the story will be done, it's just taking longer to tweak than I thought. I realized the writing style in The Return wasn't very good, but I've learned a bit, so now I need to work at making it better.
1. Do the guys have The Power in this story?
The Twilight OSs
So I just recently posted some T rated one-shots. I've said it in A/Ns but I'll say it again...they really only came about in an attempt to procrastinate from my studies. But I must admit, seeing the reviews after 6+ hours of all things school is well worth it.
I also apologize for the severe lack of that 'special something' when it comes to the kisses. I've not personally had this experience, so I can only use other fics and movies as inspiration.
...Also, on a Twilight related side note, I'm in the middle of developing a multi-chapter AH/AU story. I'm liking the outlines/scenes I have so far so that will definitely be happening in the near future, I just need to get The Return finished and in the bag first. If you're interested in helping me out...as a beta/creative consultant let me know. I could use all the help I can get.
I am currently working sans-beta, but its not really from lack of desire. Simple put, I don't have time to go beta hunting, as I'm not sure how easy it will be to find someone who won't mind reading both Twilight and Covenant fics. Fortunately, I'm wrapping up The Return so really a beta who loves Twilight would be enough for me. Please keep this in mind as you read my writing, I don't always have the time to catch all the mistakes or the fresh eyes it takes to see them. I am open to considering anyone who offers to fill the beta slot, that is until I actually land a beta that I like.
I'm in the middle of setting up Polyvore Sets for some of my O/Ss (and maybe The Return). I'm a visual person, so I thought this might be something fun to do. If anyone has any tips on how to search for things a little more efficiently (you will not believe how long it took to find a black tie) I could use the help.
Here's what I have so far:
What I'm Reading:
I'm actually pretty picky about what I read. I'm the kind of person that will cast myself in Bella's shoes, so super angsty stories with no HEA in sight are not for me. Also, Edward cheating stories and Edward with another love of his life stories tend to bring me down. I'm too sensitive for that kind of stuff. That being said, I do appreciate angst when done well and the fic in question is complete or almost complete w/ a steady posting schedule. Also it's rare that I come across a love story that is based in comedy, so whenever I come across those, I can't resist (Geek Love and Bella Swan: Kidnapper). Most of the stories in my Favs List are ones that are WIPs, it's just easier to know when they are updated that way, but the complete ones are the ones I go back to the most.
Here are the stories that I tend to read over and over again, hopefully you'll enjoy them too. Also check out my C2 and my Favs list for more!
Wide Awake (M) by AngstGoddess003...There are no words for how epic this fic is. If you haven't read it, get on it and if you think you can handle it, try the not watered down version on her LiveJournal. Tears were shed reading this, but they were well worth it. I think it should be a Twilight Fanfiction requirement that you read this
Breaking the Silence (M) by SparklingTwilight...Again tears were shed, but if you can handle a mid-fic B/E break-up (which isn't caused by cheating...which you already know I hate) then strap in for an epic ride.
Bella Swan: Kidnapper (M) by Kambria Rain...I LOOOOVE this one, it's funny in all the right ways and is completely angst-(but not drama...funny drama)-free. I'm always rereading this one and you will fall in love with Leo (who has the coolest namesake ever), Ethan and Sophie. I avoided this one for months b/c the description is so misleading, but it's a good one.
For Always (M) by Adidasgrl328...The first multi-chapter fic I really got into. It's got the perfect amount of everything, with the exception of angst...there is none.
Into the Mystic (M) by 107yearoldvirgin...Another story I avoided b/c of a misleading summary. It's amazing, completely not what I expected and I love it.
I Will Follow You Into the Dark (M) by SydneyAlice...Read it! Little Seth is so cute in this one and the speed bumps for B/E are unexpected and make the story just that much better!
I'm open to any and all recs that you think I will enjoy based on my Favs, I'm always looking for the next good read.
Future Projects: These are all currently ideas that have progressed no farther than the most basic outlines, but I'm certain they will become full novellas or one shots eventually.
Untitled-I am of the belief that you can have angst ridden, bad seed teenagers that hate the world but are not automatically emotionless, pleasure seeking "sluts." Not every troubled teen has to turn to using other people for their own physical needs. I am currently exploring what that would mean to high school aged Edward and Bella. First real full on story
Milestone Dates- Chief Swan disappeared for months to be by his daughter side but he is coming home with Carlisle and Esme Cullen eager to help. Bella has experienced trauma, but the Cullens, her father and especially Edward are on her side. Told in EPOV. Multi-chap with relatively short entries.
The Coffee Shop- Disillusioned writer Edward and secretly successful waitress Bella. She helps him get passed an unfortunate discovery and he gives her the only thing she has been left wanting in this world. Multi-chap
Pen Pals-Through a school project, Edward and Bella become pen pals. When the program is ended, the letters do not and all roads will eventually lead to happily ever after. Multi-chap
First Glimpse of Light- Introverted Edward and self-deprecating Bella meet for the billionth time in FFn history. Inspired by a Post Secret postcard I came across a while back. O/S
