"Fiction reveals truths that reality obscures."
Before I go into the long spiel about myself, I would like the first thing people see when they look at my profile to be about my stories!
8. An Important Talk by StoryCurrentlyUntitled It's been on his mind for weeks now, not only weighing down on his thoughts but his heart. Ikuto's always been a free spirit. And he has something important to discuss with Amu that could make or break their relationship. Randomness and Amuto fluff.
Member since: Sometime in 2009.
First name: It's Samantha, since one of my dumb friends all ready reviewed and used my name.
Age: Already turned 22, and have a beautiful 1 bedroom apartment.
Gender: Proud to be a girl, but not always happy with my anatomy.
Current profession: Looking for work.
Hope to become: Working on getting money saved up so I can start a business selling artwork. Obviously I'd like to become a well-known writer. I'd really like to work with animals as a profession for the rest of my life, as I've had that sort of job before and found that it's something I really enjoy.
Other: Going to be volunteering at a local Humane Society within the coming weeks. I am looking forward to that very much.
Pets: Yes, I have a dog and two cats. I also foster cats and kittens for my local Human Society.
Love interests: My fiancee. I'm happily engaged!
Hobbies: Reading, writing, drawing, walking my dog, hanging out with my friends & listening to music etc...
Favorite type of music: Everything...just not rap or heavy metal/death metal.
Best movies ever: Hitch, Chasing Liberty, Finding Nemo, Alpha and Omega, Happy Feet, Cars, Lilo and Stitch, Good Luck Chuck, the Break Up, 50 First Dates, Click, Just Go With It, The Proposal, Elf, Enchanted, Rio, Cars...As you may have guessed, I like a lot of the disney/pixar films. I'm secretly a child at heart, so don't tell anyone.
Most loved Animes/Manga: Kamisama Kazoku, Chibi Vampire, Elemental Gelade, Tsubasa Chronicle, Kamichama Karin, Zero no Tsukaima (hehe, dirty little Saito.) Hantsuki, CardCaptor Sakura, Kaichou wa Maid Sama, Ginban Kaleidoscope, Otomen, Dengeki Daisy, Fruits basket, Spice and Wolf, D.N.Angel and Full Moon wo Sagashite and I have seen InuYasha, Love Hina and Mermaid Melody, though they're not particularly of interest to me. Dengeki Daisy and Kaichou wa Maid-sama are my two current favorites!
Most loved shows: Law and Order:CI, Law and Order:SVU, NCIS, Without A Trace, Gilmore Girls, Golden Girls, House M.D., In Plain Sight. Also, Monk, Psych and Criminal Minds. I like all these, however I don't watch TV that much anymore with all of the chaos of trying to move and whatnot. I like there to be light and sound when I sleep at night because our house is almost 200 years old and I can't fall asleep listening to creaking stairs or the sound of the furnace kicking up. So I usually just put on Nick@nite and let it play through Everybody Hates Chris and The Nanny and all that other good stuff.
Some phrases that best describe me as a person:
I was gifted, but the psychiatrist took away my powers. (Never had a phychiatrist, but eveyone has a mother who does the same thing at times.)
You're just jealous because we act retarded in public and people still love us! (This applies to me and anyone I am friends with.)
Boys are like slinkys, useless, but fun to watch fall down the stairs. (Just a humble opinion;))
I ran with scissors, and lived! (Because I am a sarcastic child.)
When it rains on my party, I bust out the slip n' slide. (Because I can have fun when others have all forgotten how to.)
I don't obsess! I think intensely. (Because when it comes to my writing and my art, I sometimes overwork myself.)
I support GLBTAS and all the other letters of equality (forgive me, I can never remember all of the letters at once). Proud ally to loving relationships of ALL types. Why do I include an "S" you ask? S stands for Straight, it's true. And while Straight people suffer no kind of bias, harassment or bigotry at the hands of others, I believe that if we're going to get others to accept that we're all equal (in our relationships and love for each other), we first need to accept that we all do belong TOGETHER. Not separate.
I hope to see more reviews soon! Thanks to those who have all ready commented! Your thoughts are appreciated and welcomed. While I can't quite say that I LOVE criticism, sometimes it's needed and it helps me to become a better writer. My stories are always so sad when they don't have reviews and all the stories around them do. Make them feel better and leave a review please!
