Author has written 17 stories for Inuyasha, Naruto, Invader Zim, Danny Phantom, Misc. Books, Attack on Titan/進撃の巨人, and Legend of Zelda.
Name: Kali. Just call me Midnight though, m'kay?
About me: Let's see. I am a 23 year old Kansas City Chiefs fan, writer, artist, shower singing pop star, and Aunt to FIVE lovely nieces. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, however will have no issue beating someone to a pulp in a competitive game of Spoons. That fact aside, I do enjoy my writing and enjoy being able to share it with this local writing community. If you have need to reach out to me I'm /usually/ good at responding in a timely fashion, so don't be afraid to shoot me a PM :)
News in my life?
Ring-a-ling-ling, I hear the wedding bells sing!
That's right, I am offically MRS. Midnight Minute as of April 29th. As you can very well imagine, that means that anything I had been writing from the fall until just very recently got put on a very sudden hiatus that I am just now getting back around to. The two pieces at the top of my list are my Attack on Titan chapter fic, and my LoZ piece. Granted my updates are so sporadic it's painful, but I swear that I will get them done.
To those that have been following me, I have been writing mostly Attack on Titan as of late, and plan to continue to do so in the future. I always try to express my sincere gratitude for those that have supported my work and left me kind words of encouragement. I enjoy writing and expressing myself through the written word, so when people take time from their day to join me on that journey and grow and laugh with my characters, it is very special to me :)
I hope to continue to write out pieces that challenges my perspectives and allows for greater depth and characterization. Thank you all for the support and kindness along the journey!
Broken Mirror: I love this story. I really do. After rereading it, I realized that I am a stronger writer then I was back then, and it's because of that reason that I cannot add onto this story as it currently stands. I am not DROPPING this story though. My plan is to revamp it, correct all the painful errors and inconsistencies that I see. This will be difficult because of the 'broken' aspects of this story. Ironically enough, I have the ending written. This story in my head is completed, but I need to get it released out to you guys as well. I redid chapter one already, and am working on chapter two.
When in Rome: This story is a hot mess. It suffers from various flaws I committed when writing it. The plot itself holds a dark theme to it, a sort of Armageddon the end is near, looming background depression sort of feel. (At least it was supposed to.) Issue is, when I wrote it I turned it into a comedic piece of sorts, with some dark moments, but mostly comedy. I don't know why - perhaps the idea of all the funny things that could happen between Sakura and the Akatsuki should she be forced to live among them, but at the end of the day, it's my mistake, and I don't know if I can recover from it. Don't expect any updates on this one for quite some time.
The Ways of an Irken: Dear Gandhi this story has dragged on for far, far too long. I have a long plot drawn out many years ago (back when I was still in high school in fact) that I don't think I'll actually be keeping to. While I hate the idea of changing gears halfway through a piece, honestly, I am a completely different person that I was five years ago, and five years from now, I hope that I'll have grown further. Point is, I can either let it set and never end, or at least try with who I am today, to write out my thoughts now.
Stories to Come:
*Update here: I am leaving these ideas below for my records, but I have enough going on above to keep me occupied. So this section isn't quite relevant, because while I may produce a new one shot here and there, I don't plan on starting up a new full length story for quite some time.
In the Dark: His eyes were giving out, and things weren't going to plan. Itachi decides to take a temporary leave with Pein's permission and heads down to pay a certain pink haired medic a visit. The twist? He decides to go as his younger brother knowing that the girl- and Konoha will accept him back. It seems simple enough- at least until Sakura discovers the truth.
Dancing with Ana: This is a story I am very apprehensive about writing, but I do want to. I don't know if it's going to be a fanfic, or OC sort of writing, but I want it to be sort of like a diary system for a girl battling anorexia, or something similar. I feel this subject is both over, and under rated if that makes sense? Because of that, I want to write about it myself and add my voice amongst the others out there. Again, this is still all in theory, but we'll see what I do with it.
Legend of Zelda: I am going to write some Link/Malon, and it will be glorious.
Inuyasha: I actually have one chapter of this certain story written already. It's Sess/Kag, and I'm thinking it is going to be my next big story project after I finish my current Invader Zim story. Be excited!
The Last Dance: This story IS going to happen, and quite soon actually. I got quite the spark on inspiration from a fellow writer, and I though I know I am already doing way too many things, I must write it out or the story will haunt me! Either way, the coupling is going to be SasuSaku.
