I'm just a curbside prophet with my hand in my pocket and I'm waitin' on my rocket to come...

--S.INC--

Monotonously-Sporadic:
Height: 6'10"
Weight: 299. 4 lbs.
Appearance: Husky build, Bald, Often seen with a top-hat, Never seen without a gas-mask, Seven wings, Nine tails, Four arms, Five eyes, and Two left feet (but I will never stop dancing!).
Common Data: As the founder and leader of the newly formed Sporadincorporated (S.INC), he is informally referred to as "Mono-Spor" (or simply "Mono" by friends). In battle he wields Thanatos (The Grim Reaper's Scythe), and can use offensive/defensive/healing spells, though more of a strategist when it comes to combat. He is considered the "brain" of S.INC. He also has a cursing problem, but he, quote, "Don't give two shits".

Phillentrike Azar:
Height: 1'8"
Weight: 3.1 lbs.
Appearance: Small Siamese cat, Often seen wearing a fur coat much too large for him, Never seen without a gas-mask, One tail, Two wings, Two eyes, Four paws, and Quite possibly the best dancer in the world.
Common Data: As co-founder of Sporadincorporated, he is informally referred to as "Phill". He is Mono's "right-hand-man", if you will, as he is the Doctor/Psychiatrist/Alibi/Close Personal Friend/Muse of "The Boss", as he calls Mono. In battle, he wields a Gunspear (like a Gunblade, only instead, it's a halbard), and is the main spellcaster of the group. Never one to jump headfirst into combat, he is considered the "pacifist" of S.INC, but he will fight if ordered to. He is also fluent in Spanish.

Viceroy Valentino:
Height: 4'8"
Weight: 157.8 lbs.
Appearance: Muscular build (but he never works out), Balding, Always seen in overalls, Never seen without a gas-mask, No tails, Three wings, One eye (he lost his other one), Four limbs, and believes himself a better dancer than Phill (though, since he never dances, no-one believes him).
Common Data: As the third member of Sporadincorporated, he is commonly known as just "V.V.". He is a war veteran (though he forgets what war, he has the scars to prove it), but since his discovery of marijuana, he has become what one would call a "hippie". He is never active unless "The Man" (Mono) or "The Other Man" (Phill) tells him to do something. He is the script writer/story editor for S.INC, and is quite the poet when he chooses to be. In battle he wields two Giant's Warhammers (which are roughly three times his size) with the greatest of ease. He is capable of using spells, but he sees them as "a waste of time I don't have, man". When it comes to combat, he is his own polar opposite, as he will jump into a fight simply for the thrill of battle. He is considered the "brawler" of S.INC.
He is also single (ladies?).

Okay, so here's the deal.

As a writer, I'm sub-par at best. I accept that. But, nonetheless, I choose to write anyway.

I have an overactive imagination, and because of this I always have a scene playing in my head. 95% of the time, they are decent scenes which, if handled correctly, could be okay stories. My problem, however, lies in transferring these scenes from my head to the page.

Now, I won't say that I won't be writing/posting anything for a while, I'll just say that if something does manage to work it's way onto my profile, give it a chance. And please -please- give any and all constructive criticism that you have. It will be greatly appreciated.

My current PlayList:

"Passing Afternoon" by Iron & Wine

There are times that walk from you like some passing afternoon
Summer warmed the open window of her honeymoon
And she chose a yard to burn but the ground remembers her
Wooden spoons, her children stir her Bougainvillea blooms

There are things that drift away like our endless, numbered days
Autumn blew the quilt right off the perfect bed she made
And she's chosen to believe in the hymns her mother sings
Sunday pulls its children from their piles of fallen leaves

There are sailing ships that pass all our bodies in the grass
Springtime calls her children 'till she let's them go at last
And she's chosen where to be, though she's lost her wedding ring
Somewhere near her misplaced jar of Bougainvillea seeds

There are things we can't recall, blind as night that finds us all
Winter tucks her children in, her fragile china dolls
But my hands remember hers, rolling 'round the shaded ferns
Naked arms, her secrets still like songs I'd never learned

There are names across the sea, only now I do believe
Sometimes, with the windows closed, she'll sit and think of me
But she'll mend his tattered clothes and they'll kiss as if they know
Her baby sleeps in all our bones, so scared to be alone

(This song defies explanation. It's mellow, it's sad, it's uplifting, it's disheatening, it's...miraculous.)

"If Everyone Cared" by Nickelback.

From underneath the trees, we watch the sky
Confusing stars for satellites
I never dreamed that you'd be mine
But here we are, we're here tonight

Singing, "Amen I, I'm alive"
(I'm alive)
Singing, "Amen I, I'm alive"

If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died

And I'm singing
Amen I, Amen I, I'm alive
Amen I, Amen I, Amen I
(I'm alive)

And in the air the fireflies
Our only light in paradise
We'll show the world they were wrong
And teach them all to sing along

Singing, "Amen I, I'm alive"
(I'm alive)
Singing, "Amen I, I'm alive"

If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died

If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died
When nobody died

And as we lie beneath the stars
We realize how small we are
If they could love like you and me
Imagine what the world could be

If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died

If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died

We'd see the day, we'd see the day
(When nobody died)
We'd see the day, we'd see the day
(When nobody died)
We'd see the day
(When nobody died)

(You know what? I'm keeping this up here, dammit! I don't care that Lia's gone, I like this song, so it's here to stay.)

"Hey Driftwood (Tides)" by Children 18:3

Every man accounted for, but lost in something tangibly unclear
I thought about the things we'd lost and won
Like a record store full of rhymes and candy when Sheena's ready for guns and rock n' roll
I confess I was falling asleep with a whirlwind at my door

Always to the east our eyes are looking at the dawn
Formally requesting, but the answers never come

Oh, a hundred years could pass
What is forever?
Living proof of boy and girl
We've got each other

I told' em all once and they said I was right
But you never get strong if you win it without a fight
Oh, spit it out on the ground, we'll reach the other side
Well, she packed up her life to head down to the city
When the ticket man asked, she just smiled "I ain't comin' back!"
Hey driftwood, will you lead me to the sea?

Always to the east our eyes are looking at the dawn
Formally requesting but the answers never come

Oh, a hundred years could pass
What is forever?
Time is non-existent for today as long as we're together
Oh, and every moment comes just a little faster
Living proof of boy and girl
We've got each other

In a moment here we all may die
Know one now is quite aware just why

Summer nights that we vowed to remember turned to nightmare
Father Time has not appointed us for ever listen to
Summer nights that we vowed to remember turn to nightmare
Father Time has not appointed us forever

(One last time and then I cannot defy you)
Summer nights that we vowed to remember turned to nightmare
(Onward, can we find our way back home?)
Father Time has not appointed us for ever listen to
(It's time and still I cannot defy you)
Summer nights that we vowed to remember turn to nightmare
(Onward, can we find our way back home?)
Father Time has not appointed us forever

Oh, a hundred years could pass
What is forever? (Back home)
Time is non-existent when today could go on forever
Oh, and what else can I say to make this better?
Living proof of boy and girl
We've got each other

Oh, a hundred years could pass
What is forever?
Time is non-existent for today as long as we're together
Oh, and every moment comes just a little faster
Living proof of boy and girl
We've got each other

Oh, and every moment comes just a little faster
Living proof of boy and girl
We've got each other!

(If you haven't listened to C183, you haven't lived. This band is simply amazing.)

"Raymond" by Brett Eldredge

I work down at Ashberry Hills
Minimum wage, but it pays the bills
Cleaning floors and leading hymns on Sunday

Katherine Davis, room 303
Sweetest soul you ever could meet
I bring her morning coffee everyday

Chorus:
She calls me Raymond
She thinks I'm her son
Tells me get washed up for supper
before your daddy gets home
She goes on about the weather
how she can't believe it's already 1943
She calls me Raymond, and that's all right by me

She talks about clothes on the line in the summer air
Christmas morning and Thanksgiving prayer
Stories of a family that I never had
Sometimes I find myself wishing I'd been there

Chorus:
When she calls me Raymond
She thinks I'm her son
Tells me get washed up for supper
before your daddy gets home
She goes on about the weather
how she can't believe it's already 1943
She calls me Raymond, and that's all right by me

There's a small white cross in Arlington
Reads Raymond Davis '71
Until she can see his face again
I'm gonna fill in the best I can

Chorus:
When she calls me Raymond
She thinks I'm her son
Tells me get washed up for supper
before your daddy gets home
She goes on about the weather
how she can't believe it's already 1943
She calls me Raymond, and that's all right by me
She calls me Raymond, and that's all right by me

(If you don't like Country, then shit in your cereal. This song is one of the very few songs I've ever heard in my life that brought a tear to my eye.)

"Angel" by Sarah McLachlan

Spend all your time waiting
For that second chance
For a break that would make it okay
There’s always one reason
To feel not good enough
And it’s hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction
Oh beautiful release
Memory seeps from my veins
Let me be empty
And weightless and maybe
I’ll find some peace tonight

In the arms of an angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You’re in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here

So tired of the straight line
And everywhere you turn
There’s vultures and thieves at your back
And the storm keeps on twisting
You keep on building the lie
That you make up for all that you lack
It don’t make no difference
Escaping one last time
It’s easier to believe in this sweet madness oh
This glorious sadness that brings me to my knees

In the arms of an angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You’re in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here

You’re in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here

(There's so many people I could dedicate this to, so I'm going to make this an open dedication. If your reading this, and your having troubles or know someone who's having troubles, then my prayers go out to you and those that you love. May we all find comfort in the arms of angels.)

"Lead Sails (and a Paper Anchor)" by Atreyu

Marching Along, Like A Good Soldier Does.
I’m Setting Sail, With Anchors Holding Me Down.
Pack Up My Bags, Stow Them Away.
Bidding Farewell To All That Is Safe.

Will I Come Up For Air, Come Up For Air.

After A while The Current is Calling Me,
lulling Me Waving Goodbye.
I’m Out Here Alone, Oh God Can You Save Me Now?
Sinking My Heart Turns To Stone.

Withering Away, Her Shrinking Violet Dies.
So Full Of Life, These Lights Have Dried Me Out.
Into The Sea, I Needed A Drink.
I Never Thought This Would Consume Me Whole.

Will I come up for air, come up for air.

After A while The Current is Calling Me,
lulling Me Waving Goodbye.
I’m Out Here Alone, Oh God Can You Save Me Now?
Sinking My Heart Turns To Stone.

Save Me, Take Me Home,
Over And Over Again.
Save Me, Take Me Home.
Wishing That This All Would End.
Save Me, Take Me Home,
Over And Over Again.
Save Me, Take Me Home,
Wishing That This All Would End.

After A while The Current is Calling Me,
lulling Me Waving Goodbye.
I’m Out Here Alone, Oh God Can You Save Me Now?
Sinking My Heart Turns To Stone.

Save Me Take Me Home,
When I Come Up For Air,
Save Me Take Me Home,
When I Come Up For Air,
Save Me Take Me Home,
Over And Over Again.
Save Me Take Me Home.

Wishing That This, Just Wishing That All This Would End.

(I know what this looks like, but trust me, I'm not upset. I just cannot get enough of this song. If you haven't heard it, you really need to.)

Any and all songs that strike me as poignant will be added here. This list could get quite large...

--S.INC--

Anywayser, that's all the time I have for now! Be sure to check in every now and again, because (more than likely) nothing will be different. But if it is, it might be worth it...

From all of us here at Sporadincorporated, I sincerely wish y'all the very best!
