Author has written 42 stories for Thunderbirds, and Infernal Devices, Cassandra Clare.
Okay... So, my name is Pyre, and I'm an early-20s uni student from the Land Down Under.
I love writing, as well as drawing and playing guitar, and I'm rather addicted to coffee and chocolate. I love summer storms, autumn leaves and the overwhelming amazingness of words in general. :D
I write Thunderbirds at present, with one standalone fic from the Infernal Devices fandom (see below), but I eventually hope to branch out into other fandoms; The Mortal Instruments, Harry Potter, Merlin and Crusoe to mention a few.
Saying that, I should probably also add that I am primarily a movie-verse writer in my chosen archive, and thus have created my own back-story for the Tracy boys, which is both similar and quite different to those in the original television series. It is also slightly AU, as the Bound Series has progressed, due to the details that were overlooked in the *horrendous* 2004 movie. I have a bad habit of trying to fix things, sometimes to my detriment. :P Please don't hesitate to ask me questions to clear up any confusion that might arise. I am also extremely into the new 2015 reboot of Thunderbirds, which aside from some issues, is seriously a brilliant interpretation of the original series, very exciting to see all the new fics that result from this, the ones that have popped up so far are AMAZING!
I also love to do 'what if' scenarios, such as the inclusion of my sixth Tracy boy, Virgil's identical twin; Kent Slayton. Kent is an OC of my own creation. No use or inclusion of him in any fics may be used unless it is with my prior permission. I can be reached by PM on here, or via message on my social media pages, noted below. I love stories that break the fourth wall and include really rounded-out characters, or unusual takes on the original series. Some of my all-time Thunderbirds fusion/crossover-favourites are all the stories by Ryuuza Kochou, MathGirl, Loopstagirl and TB's LMC, and in mainstream; the epic Thunderbirds movie-verse fics by That Girl Six; 'He Is, They Are', 'Duct Tape and Sea Turtles' and 'Picnic', and all of Teobi, Louise Hargadon, Lenle.G, ArtisticRainey and Silver Bee's stories, all of which I have read an uncountable amount of times, and continually go back and read over. :)
Some of my most-loved archives include:
- Thunderbirds; TV (1965 & 2015 editions) and Movie-verse both - (Gerry Anderson/Carlton/Universal/Pukeko and co)
- Harry Potter Series - (JK Rowling)
- The Heir Series - (Cinda Williams Chima)
- The Infernal Devices Trilogy - (Cassandra Clare)
- The Mortal Instruments Series - (Cassandra Clare)
- Avatar - (James Cameron's film)
- Alex Rider - (Anthony Horowitz)
- Percy Jackson - (Rick Riordan)
- The Farseer/Tawny Man/The Fitz and the Fool Trilogies - (Robin Hobb)
- Laws of Magic - (Michael Pryor)
- Vampire Academy Series - (Richelle Mead)
- The Chronicles of Narnia - (C.S Lewis)
I have a segmented multi-chapter Thunderbirds fic in the works at the moment, the universe from which the majority of my one-shots originate. I have also begun to --as a side-project-- explore my AU movie world, with the fic Alea Iacta Est, as well as a number of short fics from both TV universes. These fics, unless specified, have absolutely no links with the Bound Arc (the name of my normal fic 'verse), but you might see a few similarities with characterisation. :) AIE won't be updated half as much as my original set of stories, but it is a work in progress.
My stories in those two film 'verses are grouped in terms of whether they are a one-shot, or a multi-story collection. They are also listed in reading order below, as well as in the story summaries themselves, which means that this profile is very long, but you’ll undoubtedly get confused if I didn’t do that. I know I do at times, and I’m the one that wrote them!!
A note on my writing:
These are my stories in both movie universes so far, and this will be updated as each new fic is added, as well as any supplementary material I create.

Alea Iacta Est Arc: (Movie AU-Verse)
In this universe, much of the universe's basic details are the same; post-film, circa 2059, with the events occurring including my OC Kent. (See above) More details will be revealed as the story progresses. The ages for the boys as of the beginning of that fic (on hiatus until I get it completed and start uploading again) are as follows: Scott twenty five, John twenty three, Virgil and Kent twenty one, Gordon nineteen and Alan fifteen. Tin-Tin is sixteen, and Fermat, thirteen.
Alea Iacta Est - In Progress
An Evening Photograph
Currently my TV-verse fics are sadly rather few and far-between, but now that I have successfully watched the bulk of the original episodes, I am confident that that list will slowly grow. As they are not a part of a 'universe' as yet, they will not be posted here but if you go down my fic list and read the summaries, you will be able to separate them from the movie-verse and Thunderbirds are Go ones quite easily, as they are either labelled as TV-verse, or are clearly labelled as being able to be read as either Original or TBAG categorisation.
Thunderbirds Are Go:
With the 2015 release of Thunderbirds Are Go, as a rebooted, 21st Century update of the original series, I have, like many others, been sparked muse-wise by the resurgence of the Tracys and the marvel that is International Rescue. This is much better than the film ever was, but still, it has its issues. While I can understand that some were necessary, such as the changing of Tin-Tin's name to 'Kayo' due to issues to do with Hergei's Tin Tin, I do not understand why they have changed the boys' hair colours, or refused to allow Grandma to have any sort of cooking skills whatsoever, so therefore, while I will leave notes in the beginning of each of my stories if something is changed that is different from the series, I will state here that Grandma 'Ruth' Tracy will always be able to cook for her grandsons, because otherwise they would have all died from malnutrition by now.
However, other than that I truly adore the new incarnation of our boys, how even though Scott is frighteningly reckless and a little overly gung-ho and slightly dangerous (see Pride Goeth in my story list for my take on that behaviour), they've "breathed life" into the fandom, to quote my friend Teobi, and I am absolutely adoring all the new fics that have resulted. I am yet to create a fanon universe for it, but my sole existing fic for TBAG (or Tea-bag, lol) is named below, because I am quite positive that more will closely follow it.
Pride Goeth - (Contains spoilers for Thunderbirds Are Go Episodes 1: Ring of Fire (Part 2), and 4: Crosscut.
A note on my fandom involvement and expectations on your conduct within and regarding my stories:
I completely feed off of comments/reviews, so don't be afraid to let me know what you think, either with grammar, flow, 'isms' or characterisation, but I will say right here and now that I do not tolerate flaming in the slightest. Constructive criticism on how I can improve; yes, unwarranted abuse of how I have incorrectly portrayed your perception of the character/series; no. I would also very much appreciate if you were to contact me before placing any of them into any archive, or on any sites other than this one.
Thank-you for your cooperation. :)

So. If you have slogged your way through this essay, an extremely heartfelt thank-you, and whether you do choose to read my stories or not, I appreciate the time you have given me. If you do honour me by continuing on, please feel free to contact me with any errors and/or discrepancies you find, because aside from chapter five onwards of Part III - Fulcrum, and the majority of my oneshots, all stories published prior to the date of the posting of Pride Goeth are unbetaed. I hope you enjoy my universes as much as I have enjoyed creating them. I look forward to hearing from you, but most of all, thank you for taking the time to read my stories. It is extremely humbling.
Yours in love of Tracys, writing, and fandoming,
