Author has written 9 stories for Lost, Doctor Who, and Merlin.
I've been a lost fan since it started and have never missed a single episode, not even when I was in hospital having my baby back in season one. Lost is the only show that I've watched for a full five seasons! I normally get bored by the end of the second season with most TV series, but then Lost is unlike anything that has been or probably will ever be on TV again. It is that unique.
Of course now that Lost is over, sadly, I've had to find another addiction and Doctor Who is it. I can't believe I never discovered how great this show is till Season 5. Of course Matt Smith is and always will be my doctor.
Now I have to add Merlin to the list of my new favourite TV shows even if I only discovered Merlin in the last couple of months. I always had the intention of watching it when it first began to air but it never happened. Now I wished I had but the beauty about discovery a show after it's only just finished is that I don't have to wait for the next episode! The downside is that I can't discuss the episode on chat forums as they aired.
I am the Aussie girl! I know that could be hard to fathom in other countries considering how small Australia is (not size and just in population) and it kind of makes me feel a little unique in that that there are not that many Australian fanfic writers.
I am very true dinky die Australian (there I've just added Australian slang) in as much as that my family hereditary line migrated here in the 1800's. Though as far as I know most of my genetic line is English and Irish. Not that I've been to either country.
I am most enamoured with Irish Independent films as I see a similarity to independent Australian film (funny how that goes). Australian film is uniquely different, and I'm not just talking 'Crocodile Dundee' here! As that is the highest Australian gross film internationally. Australian film has it's own distinctiveness that is very different that probably only an 'Australian' could get!
Being a high school teacher, and a teacher that specialises in Media Studies I am also analysing and studying TV drama/film (and god knows what else when it comes to the media) and totally love it!! Not only do I write but I've also created my own short film productions.
I'm forever learning and improving my own skills and that is what I love about life the most; you are never too old to learn! My teenage students always keep me young at heart and in touch with reality. I absolutely love teaching them and interacting with them on a daily basis.
I don't think I'll ever grow up (even though my physical body says otherwise) and I hope to god I don't!!
