![]() Author has written 20 stories for Twilight, and Harry Potter. Hi, Everyone! If you didn't know, I used to go by, foggybythebay. Funny thing, I just googled my old handle to get to my OG story list. Wow, let me tell you, it is mind-blowing to find your work translated into several languages and reviewed on Goodreads. Thank you, btw, Alexzandra, for such a generous review of my old story, To Muddy a Malfoy. I agree with your star rating. It had a terribly saggy middle and Draco's character was not what it could've been. I'm most proud and honored, though, because it was my story that introduced you to the wonderful world of Dramione! In any case, I have news and an alert for any of my readers who still might venture here. I've started taking down my stories. I may, however, decide to keep the highest reviewed and rated up since they still seem to still attract new readers who favorite them. The reason I'm doing this is that I'm trying my hand at writing original fiction in the romance genre. It seems weird to have these first attempts and this godawful epic, Draco's Dilemma, WIP still hanging around. I also came here to express my deepest gratitude to all of my foggybythebay readers and especially reviewers. You have a special place in my heart and I have all of you to thank for my ability to take this leap of faith into the scary but exciting world of book publishing. My gratitude also extends to my RP/RPG partners on Tumblr who know me as Aria and helped me tremendously to improve my writing skills, toughen my writing skin, and for encouraging me to take risks and make mistakes in my writing. (I may just find a new life for a muggle Malcolm Baddock in a contemporary romantic comedy.) In case you're wondering, I plan on joining up with an app like Vella, Goodnovel, or even POPINK under the pen name, Laela Moreno, which will be my pen name for naughtier M-rated stories. I will use other pen names as I come to better understand these platforms and move into other genres and subgenres like RomCom with POC characters, a place where I want to play for a while. Should the muse strike, I may return to to write a (Kdrama, StartUp?!) fanfic or two. In the meantime, Happy Reading! Tess |
