![]() Author has written 3 stories for Naruto. "All that glitters is not gold." William Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice Website: You can find updates about my stories on my Tumblr, found here: http:/// My original works can be found on Fanfiction's sister site, Fictionpress. I'm under the same username, Aurelia Astralis. I'm also on Archive of Our Own, under AureliaAstralis. A&G and TCW are posted there as well. About Me: You'll find that my primary fandom is Naruto, seconded by Harry Potter, and followed by a random hodgepodge of others that come from manga, books, movies, TV shows, cartoons, and comics alike. My Favorite Stories list is a pretty good indicator, but it's primarily a Naruto/Harry Potter based archive with bits of other stuff tossed in. Peruse at your own risk. Shippings are a finicky thing with me. My OTPs tend to switch around all the time, and so I've given up on that and I've told myself to be open to everything. Unfortunately, that's ended up working a little too well, and now I am fairly sure I classify under something called a crack!shipper... Oops. In the real world, away from the Internet, I'm suffering as a college architecture student somewhere with terrible weather. This means that I won't have much time to write during the normal school year, so I beg of you: please be patient with me for updates! Ah, and I forgot to introduce myself. *bows* Ari, at your service. The Meddling of the Shinigami // Naruto Status: Abandoned Synopsis: Having the voice of a bloodthirsty demon in your head is bad enough, but the Shinigami doesn't take Naruto's opinion into account when he sends the dead Hokages in his seal, intent on restoring the balance of good & evil. AU, Naruto-centric A/N: Officially up for adoption. Message me if you're interested! Update Schedule: N/A Auburn and Gold // Naruto Status: Incomplete Synopsis: A Chunin kunoichi from Konoha dies from elemental chakra poisoning during the Fourth Shinobi World War, only to be given a opportunity of a lifetime: the chance to change everything. Time Travel, AU, Tenten-centric A/N: This was created under the premise of something extraordinary happening to someone ordinary - and in the Naruto world, Tenten is as ordinary as you can get. There's a good lack of Tenten-centric stories out there, even less (if any) involving time-travel, and I wanted to try to give Tenten some semblance of a chance. Absolutely no guarantee anyone will read this, but this is more for myself than for others. Tenten's my favorite character, and I wanted to see what I could do with her. *Timeline: For a timeline guide, click here. Tenten's assumed birthdate is 23/22 BK, BK standing for Before Kyuubi. Update Schedule: Chapter 15 will be updated hopefully by the end of January 2014. *Cover Image: Property of Miraella from her DeviantArt account. The Color Wheel // Naruto Status: Incomplete Synopsis: A series of one-shots based on the story "Auburn and Gold," separated into four arcs. Time travel, AU. A/N: I already have forty-four one-shots planned out for this thing, it's kind of ridiculous. One-shots will vary in length, but I'll try to reach at least 1K words for each one. Updates will somewhat coincide with Auburn and Gold, but in general the one-shots will be whatever I feel like writing at the time. Update Schedule: Chapter 8 will be hopefully be updated by January 2014. *Cover Image: Property of Miraella from her DeviantArt account. Universal Disclaimer: I do not own any of the published works I write about on this website, or any others where I post my stories. I am not making any sort of profit from my writing, and the characters I use are the properties of their respective authors and creators. As of 2012, my stories have all been part of the Naruto fandom. I am not the owner of the Naruto series. Instead, Kishimoto Masashi-san holds that position as the creator and mangaka of the entire original Naruto storyline. Review Reply Policy: Please do not take a lack of response to reviews as a sign of my disregard. I truly appreciate each and every review I receive, but there are only so many ways I can reply to reviews that ask me to update. With that said, I will reply to reviews, but selectively. If there are questions that won't reveal spoilers or are clarification questions, I'd be happy to answer them, seeing as how I'm playing with eras and characters (this pertains specifically to A&G and TCW) that not many people are well-versed in. And if your review interests me, I may end up replying as well. :) Replies may be slow, but they will come! Important Notes: So far I've gotten a lot of reviews questioning my characterization and plot choices, for A&G in particular. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a great writer nor author - after all, I'm an architecture major, not an English one! My goal is to improve my creative writing with my stories, as I'm much better with traditional analysis essays. All I can say is that I promise to try to improve - whether it be filling in plot holes, making the story more believable as a whole, or utilizing the character to his/her full potential. I'm not making any guarantees it'll be quick or immediate, but I ask that you continue to point out the flaws you see as my stories progress. I know that a great deal of people tend to stop reading once these flaws become noticeable, but I'd appreciate it if you'd give me a chance to prove myself! |
