Oh no, she's back!!
Okay, so I'm back here after... well hell if I know how long I've been gone, and I don't know how long I'll be back. But I've got a few ideas bouncing around in my skull that I thought I would put to paper and if you guys like it, great! If not, well, at least I won't be kicking myself over not going anywhere with them, eh?
For those of you who liked my long-standing stories , I think I owe you an apology for abandoning them so abruptly. Again, I don't remember what point I stopped writing, but I know I left a few people hanging. So sorry for that. The original files are all gone, so don't expect to see them come back. Again, sorry. I ended up hating them by the end, anyways.
But where in the eternal blue blazes has she been?!
Do you want the long version, or the Reader's Digest version? Doesn't matter, I'm giving you the RDV, I don't have the patience to explain the long version. So in short: Japan.
Oh, all right, I guess I owe you more of an explanation than that.
Let's see... I think I remember telling you guys about the whole Navy thing? Probably. Anyways, I'm in the Navy (yaaay, 'Murica). In Japan, on a ship. And stuff. I go between doing more work than is rightly good for a person, to doing absolutely nothing at all, with no warning for either... I think it's knocked a few more screws loose than before, but hey, that's why you guys keep me around, eh?
Okay, so what happens now?!
I dunno. I'll be disappearing again for a good six months, for starters (was my coming-back premature? Probably), while my ship putzes around the Pacific for a while. During which I'll probably have plenty of time to write... Or I may just stare at bulkheads. When I'm not working, anyways. So in short? No promises/Don't get your hopes up. My old readers know better than to expect much from me. I live day-by-day, moment-to-moment. But I will try because I may actually be on to something good.
Now then, for those of you who are just now joining us...
Hi, my name is Pseud0zombie, but you can call me Zed! I'm an American Sailor (woo, 'Murica) stationed in Japan who has more free time than she rightly knows what to do with, and yet still spends half of it lamenting about work. I hate 90% of what I've written, but I'm told that I'm the only one with that opinion, so I just keep on trucking along. Most of my work is in the "Game" section, though I've been known to dabble in other fields... when I bother. Anyways. Hope you enjoy the ride on the crazy train.
