My name is Rachel, but please call me Rae. I love life. And not just my life, but the whole concept of being alive. It's a miracle. I don't plan on wasting a single second of it which is probably what makes me such a horrible procrastinator. Why do something that I hate, when I can be out doing something that I love?

I'm a senior in college studying psychology. No, I'm not gonna ask you how you feel about that. Yes, I'm going to go on to grad school and make more money that you will. (It's a pet peeve of mine when people assume I'm wasting my life getting a degree that will take me nowhere, which is a corollary to my pet peeve about the belief that psychologists only study crazy people. If we didn't study normal people, how would we know what makes someone else crazy?)

I mainly read Harry Potter and Twilight. My other favorite genre is fairy tales (rewritten or modernized) and my favorite story is Sleeping Beauty. I also love historical fiction, so I can be all over the place.

My favorite HP fics are about Draco. If I could have any fictional character, it would be a reformed (but not too reformed) Draco.* I am a passionate Draco and Ginny shipper, but I am not above reading Dramione or Drarry. I am also partial to Fred or George /OC fics. I dare someone to tell me Fred is dead. I dare you.

For Twilight, the fic has to be written really well and/or have an intriguing plot, but I don't have much of a character preference. I adore Jasper. I don't care if he's paired with Alice, Bella, or if he's just there in the background. I tend to like canon parings, but some of my favorites fics aren't canon in least.

Ok I admit, there is one fictional character I want more. Nicholas Nickleby. He's the perfect guy.

I'm not a grammar/spelling snob, but I do at least expect basic spell check. Its awful trynig to read whn letter sare mising and/or miss placed. Also please don't write "I know this is awful" in the a/n. Take the time to run it through a revision. It's not that hard and it improves the quality of the fic a lot. Beta's are wonderful people and I can hook you up with my group if want to find someone!

If you're here b/c I reviewed your story, upset and wondering what right I have to say whatever it is that I said. It's because I'm honest. I saw it as constructive criticism and I thought you needed to hear it. Just know that if I got through to the end of the chapter and left a review, I liked it. Honestly. I don't read what I don't like, and I certainly wouldn't waste any more time reviewing it. People who leave flames for no reason or to demoralize make me sick.
