Hey, I'm Simon, an 18 year old lad from Birmingham, UK.
Uni life is keeping me pretty busy right now, but I'll try to keep up daily updates on the CMM challenge until I'm caught up. Maybe that'll mean slower updates for Security Service, but it might just mean I procrastinate less on MSN (You know who you are, distracting people).
I'll read most fics (In fact I probably have at some point or another :D), but I do have some standards; lack of basic grammar and spelling tends to annoy me. I don't read slash either (even though I wrote a femslash fic, but that was an experiment, I swear! :P)
My favourite sports are cricket and football (Soccer for you Americans).
In football I support Birmingham City. They recently came 2nd in the Championship, and so got promoted to the Premiership for next season, unfortunately I'll have to give up my season ticket as I won't be able to afford it anymore because of university, but at least they're moving in the right direction.
In case you're wondering, the kro in my name stands for Keep Right On, the Birmingham City anthem (Think You'll Never Walk Alone for Liverpool)

For me, that's what football is all about. I don't care how good the players are so long as the crowd is good and singing as loud as possible. The best games for me are the ones where I can't talk afterwards because my throat hurts too much from all the singing. I think I'm about 5 seats to the left of the guy filming it, it was taken on the last day of the season before last. Blues won 4-1 but still got relegated, in the end we had to laugh at how we only win so well when it doesn't even matter. The loudest I've heard was when Fahey scored against Preston in the last home game of last season. One of my mates told me he could hear the crowd from about a mile away! 30,000 mad Brummies will probably do that, I've never hugged so many random strangers within 10 seconds before in my life, but the adrenalin has to go somewhere.
Thanks for reading!
