Author has written 12 stories for Greek Mythology, Inheritance Cycle, and Batman.
About me: I like to read (obviously), write, listen to music, make far too many sarcastic comments, and daydream. I'm am pathetically useless at sports and a frequently injured, easily bored klutz. I adore coffee, chocolate, my cat, gothic fairytales, the ocean, mint m&m's, and seasalt caramels. I was born on the East coast and can't wait to move back, but I'm stuck out West because I'm a broke minor and it's a long walk.
My stories: So... ahem... Hi all. I'm ashamed to say that I've basically abandoned Love Like Winter. I'M SORRY! I haven't written any fanfiction in ages... I've been focusing on original works for the last year or so, mostly poetry and the first inklings of a novel. I plan to return to FF as a writer eventually, but it's all in the breeze right now.
Books I love: Stand alone novels: Gathering Blue, Tithe, Valiant, Ironside, Wintergirls, The Warrior Heir, The Wizard Heir, The Dragon Heir, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, The Goose Girl, Enna Burning, Lips Touch Three Times, and Mimus, to name a few.
Series: Harry Potter, The Farsala Trilogy, The Mortal Instruments, The Inheritance Cycle (but Brisingr was just odd), Pellinor, Peter and the Starcatchers, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Warriors (give me a break I started reading it when I was ten), Protector of the Small Quartet, Stravaganza, The Infernal Devices, The Immortal Secrets of Nicholas Flammel and others that I'm surely forgetting.
My music: My tastes in general are eclectic, and particularly widespread in music. I love anything with an exceptional melody and poignant, expressive lyrics. When I first started writing on FF, I was going through a rock/heavy metal phase. I later became obsessed with Soft Rock, and I've always been a fan of Alternative and most Indie works. I've been getting back into Jazz and Folk music lately. If you have any recommendations, please PM me! I love hearing new things.
Writer to Writer: In my opinion, style is one of the most important things a writer can have. I love and try to write stories with a distinctive writing style, a plot as devoid of cliches as possible, and appropriate grammar and syntax. I like mature styles, and I don't like reading plots with little imagination. That's my main complaint about FF... lately, the writing just hasn't been that good. So, writer to writer, analyze what you write before you post, You are your own best and most brutal critic. If you don't trust yourself, find the best beta available. take pride in your work, and let's rid FF of substandard stories!
