Author has written 4 stories for Chuck.
One of the TV Show producers announced that Carina will be back in season 3 which comes to show once more what an opportunity Carina's initial character can be. Hopefully, theirs won't be as insane as this one.
A few words about me:
First, while I’m a writing person, I’ve never done fiction before. It’s tremendous fun and helped me recharge my batteries after 20+ years of my typical activities. Fiction is definitely a very different animal. And very exciting.
Second, I started posting my first story, Chuck Versus Agent Insanity only after I had a very definite draft of the whole thing (13 chapters), so it’ll be uploaded relatively soon. It just needs some fine tuning.
While the story has a very definite finale with regards to a certain issue, it’s also a part of a much wider plot and will have a sequel. All major elements of the latter are already mapped out.
I think that Carina's character, as presented on the TV show, offers tremendous opportunities. My version is obviously pushing the envelope but that's the way I like it.
Many thanks to those who have read the first several chapters and put it to their story alert subscriptions and to those who posted reviews. Special thanks to the ones who put it in their fave folder. Could be too early, folks, could be too early.
With regards to Chuck as a fan-fiction subject:
I think it should be exploited, much more often, from a more realistic angle, of real life issues and how the intelligence world actually operates. I’d prefer to see the team involved in real issues, such as events related to North Korea, etc. The TV Chuck is stuck to LA for obvious reasons, but the fictional Team B. can go anywhere since Chuck’s head turned out to be so important on federal and international levels.
Regarding the TV Chuck:
I believe the authors should have let Chuck and Sarah end up together, sealing the deal and everything, behaving like grown-ups, so the writers take up the tremendous challenge to keep the TV public interested under these circumstances.
Their romance has been back and forth for too long and it’s pretty clear that all future obstacles will be trumped up. So they stick to Hollywood’s golden rule.
