Author has written 6 stories for Ranma, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Soul Eater.
I write fanfiction mainly for my own enjoyment, but if others enjoy it too, all the better. That being said there is always room for improvement in my stories and any constructive criticism is welcome.
I finished this Soul Eater fanfic in October, 2014 but didn't get it edited until December. It is post-Anime, technically an AU, but it has spoilers for the end of the Anime. I broke it into three chapters and the ending. I like it. I don't really have any other commentary on it at the moment.
The Brothers of Nightmare Shop:
My first non-Ranma fanfic that I finished. I worked on this story off and on, so no telling really how long it took to write. I finished writing it in June 2014. I wrote this story because I really wanted to write a horror story, and while I have read and enjoyed horror Ranma fics I couldn't see writing one myself.
I chose The Nightmare Before Christmas for my horror fic because the original story certainly has a lot of potential for horror, and yet I could not find that many horror fanfics about the movie. The idea for the story came from Sally taking herself apart and all the implications of her being able to do that.
I would like to add that neither of the Jeckl brothers, nor Lady McBeth are evil. They just got a bit too greedy and made shaky judgement calls on the wrong thing. Also, I make quite a lot of references in the story to other things, both clear references and some just alluded to.
Info about Solace With Cherries:
I finished this story in October, 2011; it took a year to write and edit.
It's a post-manga Akane-centric oneshot. The idea for it came to me when I was sick with a fever. Making up a new martial arts form was both fun and exhausting. I always was interested in the fanfiction stories that tried to explain the workings of Jusenkyo, so this was my thoughts on that.
I don't have any plans to continue this story.
About Sacrifice and With Golden Fur:
Sacrifice actually took me about a month and a half to write. I finished it June, 2010.
Its from a bizarre idea. The beginning half of the story was inspired from my memory of writing a story about an Ancient Mayan girl being sacrificed. Later I searched for a copy of the Ancient Mayan story I wrote. When I found it I was disappointed. My memory of the story is much better than the actual story.
If you're wondering about the shisa/shishi/komainu, well, I had seen lots of references to them in a variety of anime (there are even a few in Ranma 1/2, for example Ryoga's depression attack) and was very curious about them. I figured there must be mythology legends about shisa/shishi/komainu so I tried looking them up. I only found one story. I felt this lack of legends was disappointing. And so shisa somehow ended up in my Ranma fanfiction.
I originally intended (and still do, in a way) Sacrifice to be a oneshot. However it has so much room for expansion that I'm writing more. With Golden Fur I'm writing as I go so... no guarantees. At this point I have quite a few plans for it so we shall see where that leads.
Random commentary on Curses and Cures:
I finished writing Curses and Cures in March, 2010. It took me about a year to write and edit the story. I didn't start posting until it was complete.
It was inspired from the Ranma 1/2 manga. Also the parts with Tatewaki Kuno were loosely based on a one-act play I saw once, I wish I remember what it was called...
I purposely left all the character's ages ambiguous. This is partially because I couldn't decide exactly how old I wanted them to be. After several chapters I kinda gave up on the exact time frame and just had everything happen 'a few days later' or something like that. The entire story takes place in no more than two months, though. It also takes place during spring/summer.
The world they live in has medieval technology (for the most part, I'm not entirely sure they had compact mirrors in the middle ages) and magic.
The non-main characters come and go as they please. The way I see it they have their own agendas and adventures, etc. going on but in this story we (the audience/reader) only know what Ranma and Akane know. That is why we don't find out things such as how exactly Happosai gets the compact or why he gives the compact to Akane, for example. With the exception of Rouge I did my best to keep the characters in character and recognizable for who they were.
I do have a possible idea for a sequel titled Blessing, but currently I have a major case of writer's block with it. Which is really unfortunate because I rather like the main plot element I have for it, even if it is rather strange.
