Author has written 8 stories for Harry Potter, Crucible, and Assassin's Creed.
So this is me, I suppose.
As you might have guessed, I’m female. And most likely, I should be doing homework right now.
About me ( As if you’re interested. We’ll just assume that you are. If not, feel free to skip this.): I’ve been reading fanfiction for years now. I do have a couple beginnings of stories... and a lot more unwritten ideas. The story I have posted is an idea I had while washing the dishes. I always get my best ideas then. Its weird.
I've been amazed by the response to Iguana's and my Assassin's Creed story. Why didn't anyone tell me how popular the fandom was? It was so much fun writing that. And for those who really liked it, Iguana and I are writing something of a sequel. Can't wait to put it up!
And, just because she's insanely talented and just awesome like that, Iguana also drew my avatar for me. You can find most of her stuff- written and drawings- on DeviantArt. She's iguanablogger.
The following is a bunch of random stuff about me, because I can't find anything I'm in the mood to read.
I read books for the characters, not the plotline.
Literary-wise, irony makes me laugh, tragedy makes me happy, and I love confrontations.
My favorite author, at the current moment, is Louisa May Alcott. I'm on a Little Women reading spree- and the saccharine and sentimental tone of her books is sort of endearing. Not likely in even the smallest degree, but still it's sort of adorable.
My favorite poem is The Psalm of Life by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
I don't watch TV, and haven't for the past...oh...four, going on five years.
I'm rather embarassed to say that I used to like Twilight. Then, a bunch of the girls in my school got ahold of them and became frighteningly obsessed and really annoying about it all. Nowadays, I like making fun of Twilight to their faces, just to see their expressions. My sense of humor is like that. I'm not the most popular kid in school. :)
The longest single letter I've ever written was 151 pages long. It only took two months, and had a funny quote at the top of every page. The adressee, my best friend, sits next to me in class, and lives only two and a half blocks away. The previous year, she had given me a letter that was 140 pages long, which took us roughly 10 months to write.
I'm one of those disgusting people who gets good grades without trying, while most of my friends are not.
I love English class. I should. I'm taking three this term.
Places I would love to visit, but am pretty sure I never will: Australia, Russia, Ireland, Britain, and Italy.
I have favorite historical eras: the 40s, the 1900s, Victorian England, The French Revolution, The Russian Revolution...a couple more I can't think of right now. I hate the 50s, 60s, the Pilgrims, and the American Revolution.
If I ever get the chance, I want to learn American Sign Language. It fascinates me.
People call me cynical; I prefer to think of myself as realistic.
I wouldn’t call reading a hobby, because I do it so often. I think of hobbies as more of occasional things to do when you’re bored. I read too much for it to be a hobby.
Um... I also like to sing.
And clean. (All my friends’ parents love me for this.)
I’m no longer search of a life, the one that I have already just pressed fast-forward, and I'm just trying to keep up with everything.
One of my favorite quotes: “Have you ever considered that all those people dressing up in sheets may not be pretending to be ghosts, but mattresses?”
"Life is an awful, ugly place to not have a best friend." — Sarah Dessen
Another: "Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy, and good with ketchup."
Not a quote: "Sarcasmed" isn't a word. But it should be. Do you know how awkward it is to keep writing "...he said sarcastically" all the time?
Has anyone else ever wondered: if Ron was using Charlie's old wand for the first two books, what was Charlie using then?
By the way, bunnies are not going to take over the world. Starbucks will. And we'll be happy about it.
I'm an aunt! My eldest sister had a baby girl on Wednesday, June 23rd. She's the first grandchild in our family, so everyone's ecstatic.
Really, I'm not insane...
Update: I know this should already be very obvious given I haven't updated any of my stuff in years, but all my stories are abandoned.
