NEWS: Wow. Where to begin. I guess the most recent thing that has happened is that I just placed 1st for favourite fandom story on 'Better in Texas'. The fic in question was 'Fame and War'. I can't believe that my fanfic would even be nominated let alone place 1st! I am on top of the world right now and has given me new inspiration for the fic (so hopefully I'll get to finishing it soon).
The other news is that I have had four articles published in a local magazine near me! It is a free magazine and I really just write little upbeat pieces, not dealing with any major issues or anything, but it is still pretty cool. I think I might finally get in gear and pursue this writing thing. I know these are small accomplishments, but to me they are huge!
Stars Fell on Alabama: What happens when a new face blows into town with a mind to inform Vic Vega of his brother Vince's death? Meet Vi or codename Alabama and join her as she teams up with the surviving (if only barely) dogs in a search for answers. Chapter Seven is up.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Trois Fois: A short fanfic wherein Clopin meets a young woman running away from her past. He offers her a glimpse of her future instead. Chapter One is up.
The IT Crowd
Update 4 of 4: Denholm's latest Declaration of War sees the arrival of a new employee to the basement office. How will the IT Crowd react to this new team member? Chapter Eleven is Up.
Drowning In Fire: A rather short fic in which Jerome/Eugene confides in his paid company for the evening. He recounts for her the even leading up to the night he was crippled. Chapter 10 is up.
The Musketeers (BBC TV Program)
Fame and War: A story about a woman with many names and an assignment that sees the Musketeers on the hunt for the plans for a new and dangerous weapon. Chapter Twenty-Three is up.
The Human Experience: A series of one shots of how Castiel gets used to life after heaven. Set at the end of season four and beginning of season five. What's Worse Than Man Flu? and Of Angels and Impalas.
It Cuts Like An Archangel's Blade: Cas-centric torture fic involving Alastair. Revolves around the events in On the Head of a Pin (season four), but set in season five. Complete. May add Epilogue; have not yet decided...
Semiotics (Avengers): One -Shot. Takes place mostly in the gala scene. Loki thinks on the name of the street he finds himself on. Spoilers so if you don't want to be spoiled then don't read. Touches on Norse mythology as well...Light humour, a tribute to the magnificent mind of Joss Whedon. Completed.
Broken Dreamer (Avengers): Set after the film. Amanda Raeburn is keen to find out what she has missed in her absence from S.H.I.E.L.D. But director Fury keeps looking at her as if she has lost her mind. And for all she knows, She has...Spoilers for the film, obviously. An idea that wouldn't let me sleep until it was written...A one-shot that turned into a seven shot...Chapter Seven just uploaded. Completed? Maybe...Maybe not. :P
