Welcome to my profile page...
My name is "Jones... Ianto Jones" and I am a huge (slightly obsessive) fan of Torchwood, so all my fanfiction will be Torchwood based. Incase there was ever any question my favourite Torchwood character is Ianto Jones, and I love Jack/Ianto stories... though I have read alot of very good Ianto/Owen fics! All my fanfics are (currently) Jack/Ianto based... but I am thinking about broadening my writing to other pairings.
I love this website - I think there are some incredible writers out there, and some brilliant reviewers. I spend alot of my free time reading stories on here, and writing my own. I have been overwhelmed with the response I have received to my fiction - thanks everyone :)
Every so often my stories get specific dedications to other authors on here, but I would like to dedicate all my work to the memory of Ianto Jones. Like alot of you I have never ever cried so much for so long about a fictional character before and I doubt I ever will again. Watching episodes of series 1 and 2 was difficult after his death, and I have yet to watch Children Of Earth again, but will brave it one day. Ianto was an fantastically written and acted character, so credit has to be given to both Russell T Davies for writing him and to Gareth David Lloyd for bringing him to life so beautifully. Despite this credit, I think Russell T Davies made a huge error in judgement when he decided to kill him off, and I think he's going to find his ratings suffer as a result. I dont think Torchwood, or Jack, will ever be the same again, and I cant imagine either will change for the better. I guess we'll just have to see what series 4 brings.
My Avatar is the photo I took of Gareth at the "Forbidden Planet" signing on 27th October 2009. If you read my stories, I am sure you are well aware how excited I was!
For those who missed the announcement my baby boy Alistair was born on 15th October 2010. Needless to say the pace of my writing and updating will be somewhat slower than it was before his arrival, but I am by no means retired.
And in case you're wondering where I've been recently... my second baby boy Philip arrived on 16th May 2014! I am now seriously busy, but I am still writing and I am most definitely available for beta-reading.
Thanks for reading this and my stories - keep sending the reviews and requests!
