Time after time, again and again we all fall into line and become nothing but typical conformists to the world around us. Time after time we lose sight of what we ruly believe to be good and we become mindless slaves to the world without hope to reform. Again and again good people slip into the abyss of life and lose theirselves. However, there is hope: every so often a person or two will break from these bonds and be independant and unique to themselves. This trait is much more common now than it used to be, and with that in mind is no doubt why unique is the new conformity.
So how do you not conform? If every time you're unique you conform to BE unique, and everytime you conform to someone else's uniqueness you're conforming to society, how do you slip into a unique self that isn't conformist? No, it isn't possible anymore. But that isn't to say we haven't tried. Time after time, again and again we will fight the fight we can and become different. Time after time we will break free from the societies we grew up in and become unique; again and against we'll rise against the flame and change our world.
Or so I'd like to believe. As much as I do, everyime I've seen this world change it's not been for the better. Everytime I've seen this world become something different it's only hurt us in the end. So why should we bother with it you might ask? If you think about it, that's exactly what we need. We need the world to go back into a dark age when everyone realizes they CAN'T do everything for themselvse before we can make our true strike. When the world is finally back to relying on one another and people stop hating each other every god forsaken minute of every god forsaken day, THEN the world will finally know true peace. Love and war are two sides of the same coin, and you can only have one with the other.
My goal? As a writer, I want to show the creativity that the dark age can grant. Without that, who knows what we'll become...
Oh, wait, I do.
