I am the author of an unexpectedly extended fanfiction series in House that has taken on a life of its own. This is still active, though updates coming more slowly due to life and having plenty of other things taking up time. But the series is still being updated, and there are other stories in line for it after the current one.

There are two real world books in existence (so far). Well, three, but the first was a privately commissioned very limited run, is hard to find, and I doubt it would have much general appeal. I love it but not sure many people outside the narrow subject field would.

C-Sharp Minor: My Mother's Seventeen-Year Journey through Dementia. This is a quite intense book, obviously, though it is not all gloom and doom. The bright moments as well as the dark ones are presented. Lots of music, too, which was a passion for Mom and continues to be one for me. 10% of anything I earn from C-Sharp Minor will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.

And new as of summer 2021. The Cats Locked Me in the Well House: Anecdotes and Memories from a Lifetime with Cats. This book is very different from C-Sharp Minor. It is a fun romp through adventures with cats, with all stories being true. Lots and lots of humor. This one is nice, easy reading and could be read at the end of a long, tiring day. 10% of anything I earn from Cats will be donated to Eden Animal Haven in Brighton, Missouri. As of the last few days of July, the e-book link is live on Amazon. The print copy will be available in a few weeks.
