So I’m finally putting something on my profile.

I love reading, I have ever since I could pick up a book, and realized that I could escape into other worlds in the words between the covers.

I absolutely love Harry Potter, and that is where you will find me most times I am on FanFiction.

Although I love certain pairings it is the story that really captures my attention, not necessarily the pairing.

If I read a story I generally try to review it, but since I work during the week, most of my reviews are done on the weekend. So if you publish a new chapter on Monday, chances are that I will not be able to review it until the weekend, but I will review it.

I am in awe of all the authors on this site simply because I can’t write to save my life, even while I was in school.

For all of those who put themselves out there when they publish a story, and hope that someone reads it or likes it. I say THANK YOU. Without you none of us would here reading and loving your stories.

The one thing that drives me completely INSANE is when a story gets published, people review it, like it, follow it, but then it never gets updated again. I know that the authors have lives too, and can’t always update stories as fast as the readers would like, but still to leave an audience waiting and eventually giving up on a story is very hard on a reader.

This is totally self serving, but I love getting PMs from authors. It is something I really look forward to, especially if it is about a review I wrote.

The best thing about login to my email is seeing update to a story that I love.

I took an incredible long break from FF, due to a review I wrote. Just to explain to anyone who is interested. I wrote the review, another reviewer on the story didn't appreciate what I had written, and wrote me an outlandish PM. It was so negative, hurtful, and it wasn't even from the author!! I couldn't believe that they had done this. I just didn't know how to respond, so I took a break, but about 6 months or so ago I found my love for FF again, and decided to login to my account, and start reading and reviewing again.

Recently had wrist surgery, and typing and other things have become extremely difficult for me, but I'm still trying to review most of the stories I read.

Since I last wrote in here I now have an incredible new job, were my manager basically lets me do what I want most of the day as long as I get the job done. I can't say enough of how that changes so many things in my life.

I was recently asked by a friend who my favorite character is? I have to say it's still Sirius Black from Harry Potter. To this day I still refuse to accept that he was killed in OotP. Most of the stories I read on FF are about him, or his brother Regulus, who I also feel got a rotten deal in the HP Books. So I'm always looking for stories were they live and have happy endings.

I was also asked about my OPT? I had to Google the term to figure out what that meant, but for me that is Sirius & Ginny. To me they are perfect together, and I wish there was more stories about them out there on FF.

Update 08/07/2020

I’m going through my story subscriptions to remove the ones that I’m no longer interested in. It has nothing to do with the story or the author, there are just too many for me to keep up with. And as it stands, I can barely keep pace with reviewing the active ones.

That being said I am trying to get back into the groove of reviewing, but with everything going on in the world right now, and in my personal life, I just can’t seem to find the energy or enthusiasm to do it. But I promise I will review them.
