Author has written 5 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender.
I have not and never will give up on "I'll Walk You Home". I will finish it, no matter how long it takes me. I apologize again for the long wait and hope that you will stick with the story.
I am a fat old man, with a big white beard, who was born at the end of the first half of the last century, but for some reason I have become fascinated with a childrens' cartoon show, very strange.
It took me eight years to earn a BA
I went to Forestry school but never got a degree and have never worked in Forestry
I was a volunteer Fireman
I spent four years in the U.S. Coast Guard
I was stationed on an Oceangraphic Ship and an Icebreaker
On the Icebreaker I traveled to the Arctic and the Antarctic (Which is probably why I like the Water Tribes in Avatar the Last Airbender)
I have been a U.S. Civil War Re-enactor
I have been a Medieval Recreator (not a Re-creator) I like period fencing mostly Rapier and Dagger
That's about it.
Hope you enjoy my stories.
Thanks for stopping by.
About a year and a half ago I helped a friend who was shooting a film he wrote. It was a post Civil War story that takes place in California. I supplied some of the firearms used in the film, and I taught the actors how to hold and fire them and was the onset guy who loaded the blanks for the guns.
I also did some research and found out about Sweeney Capsules. These are plastic spheres the size of paint balls. They come in two halves, and snap together. You fill them up with dirt or dust and shoot them out of a paint ball gun to simulate bullet hits. I bought some and used them on the film.
The film is now finished and I saw it the other night. My Friend (Joseph) did a really good job on the film. It looks and sounds great. I was very impressed.
There is also a trailer for the movie on the web site. I think Joseph put in every gunshot we used in the film in the trailer. It was a real pain to use black powder for all the blanks, including the shot gun blanks, but they look great in the movie.
Please take a look.
