A Little about me...

I'm a reader, not a writer. I'm a mom of 2 boys who I loving refer to as Kid1 and Kid2. I'm old. Not cougar old... yet. But close enough that it bothers me every day. But for now I'm still a Puma! UPDATE: obsmama has so rudely pointed out that I am a cougar and not a puma like I originally thought! Whatever! Love you, Cor!

A Little about the mini bellaloves and Mr. bellalove...

I have two boys. Kid1 is starting HS this year! How did I get this old? Kid2 will be in 4th grade. Again, how did I get this old?

My hubs is awesome. He is very supportive of my addiction... most of the time.

Oh, and I have two dogs. A border collie named Jack and a yellow lab named Cullen!

How I got here...

Right before Twilight premiered in 2008, I remember seeing something on the news about these actors being at our local mall and how they were mobbed by all these teenage girls and how controversial it was that the parents allowed the kids to skip school for it. I remember thinking, "Who the hell are they and what the hells so special about them?" HA! Then after the movie was released, Kid1 kept begging me to take him to see it. My standard reply, "NO! I told you a million times already, I DON'T DO SCARY MOVIES! NOW STOP ASKING ME!" What? The trailers on TV made it clear they were vampires! Kid1 kept trying to say it wasn't scary but I wouldn't have it. There were vampires. How could that not be scary? When the DVD was released, every single day there was someone new on FB making some kind of comment about Twilight. Finally in May of 2009 I decided I would rent it and see what all the hype was about. I watched it during the day while the kids were in school and then watched it again and again and again that day and every day that week. It was a Monday. After I posted my love for Twilight on my FB account, everyone said I had to read the books! I'm not a reader. I bought the cliff notes all through HS. But I bought Twilight and decided to give it a try. I started Tuesday night, finished on Wednesday afternoon and immediately went to the store to buy New Moon. I stayed up all night reading NM and had to chaperon the 1st grade field trip to the zoo in the morning on NO sleep whatsoever! Once the bus got back from the zoo, I ran to the store to buy Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. In the end I read all 4 of the books in 4 days. I thought I was blind by the time I was done. I literally couldn't see anymore and my drops became my best friend.

Of course once I finished reading the books I needed more and turned to the internet. I found SM's website and read all the outtakes and extras. I read Midnight Sun and was convinced that she actually wrote the whole thing and that if I searched hard enough I would find the rest of the rest of the chapters. I didn't. But what I did find was fanfiction finishing the chapters. To this day I'm still not sure what website I was on when I found them. I've since needed a new hard drive on my desktop and laptop so I haven't even been able to search to see what it was I actually read. What I found looked kinda like FFn but instead of the fics being listed as each fic individually, chapters were listed individually. I don't even know if all the chapters I read were written by the same author. After that I found Bella's Diary site and then from there I found FFn and Twilighted. And the rest is history...

My favorite fics...

My all-time favorite fic that I absolutely love love love is How to Save a Life. NOTHING else could ever touch that one for me. Potward *sigh*. I also may have a slight obsession with unholy.obsession for being so amazingly talented and writing, sharing and posting this absolutely fabulous story. And I couldn't be happier that she's reposted it! Thank you uh_oh! Seriously people, if you haven't read HtSaL yet, you really should! Yes, it's angsty and yes, it will break your heart and Yes, you'll feel like they will be coming for you with a straight jacket soon. But TRUST! It's beautifully painful and superbly written and just so amazingly incredible and I promise I'll hold your hand every step of the way and hold you and it will all be worth it in the end.
