Author has written 20 stories for Twilight. I was given the Twilight novels last summer by a friend to read. I’m a reading addict and have a broad range of interests. I burned out on the vampire genre years ago reading Anne Rice, so I really didn’t want to take on a series with that storyline. She told me, “Trust me you are going to like these.” I finally agreed and was immediately hooked. Later she told me she knew it was done deal because of the premise of nonrelated individuals coming together as a family. After numerous conversations about the books with said friend, she challenged me to write what I thought would happen after Breaking Dawn. My challenge: Write a sequel that stuck as close as possible to Stephenie Meyer’s style, including no MA sex scenes. Harvest Moon, my cannon story, is the result of this challenge. My story does include two additional characters, but after explaining my story line to my friend she agreed that these individuals wouldn’t void my attempt. Several individuals that have inquired about the history behind my story have asked – What do I get from following through with the challenge? Nothing, other than the fun of attempting to do something I never have done which is writing fiction. Now I have begun the sequel to Harvest Moon - Full Moon Rising. This story gets to be my own, with a lot less parameters. In regards to what I like to read? Anything that is well written. I don’t run from AU, all human, or graphic stories as long as the author has a plot and can carry it through. I have a twisted sense of humor that often comes through in my writing, so I appreciate any story that carries good humor. I have received many death threats for my April Fool's day chapter - if you don't know what I mean - you will if you read my stories. I know many writers on this site have long profiles, so I’ll continue to update as I think of something interesting to say. Perhaps it is telling that at this time the profile is so short. |
