24/Jan/2015 UPDATE: I don't know if anyone reads the profiles. In case though I was hoping to let you guys know that I do mean to keep writing. Like everyone, things in life get tough. Things in my life are complicated like anyone else's. However I am behind on my stories in general without life being an excuse. My hard drive messed up so everything I had been working on has been erased. When I write, I just keep writing, and I don't post chapter by chapter. I let things simmer for a while, go back to edit later, and make sure that each chapter ties in to the last. For the few stories I have been working on, I have lost about six chapters each. I am going to go back and read through what I have already posted, and start over again. I know you should always back up your files, and long story short I had the backed up, got a new hard drive, cleaned up my disk blah blah blah, point is deleted them from my computer and when I went to back them up from my old hard drive to the new one I realized the old hard drive was dead. I am sorry guys. I am upset about it. I will try to get back on track.
I am a college student who has more school work than hours in a week to complete. In other words I haven't a lot of time, but as anyone who has been a faithful reader of any of my stories, excepts the few on hiatus, will tell you that I am very devoted to finishing my work. I am just slower than a snail, and pretty lazy. If you can really wait I promise you will see the ending of my stories.
Other than my impressive skills for being a slow and lazy writer I just have to give credit to everyone who has stuck by me. They gave me the encouragement to keep on writing, and it is touching to know that so many people really enjoy my work. Unless you are reading my GOW story. I get a lot of questions as to why my AN's are so mean in that story. Well firstly I have caught tons of strange heat for that story. Secondly I go to a very angry place when I am writing that story. I just sit in front of my computer for hours listening to Mushroomhead, Korn, Slipknot, Metallica, Lamb of God, and any other stereotypical things that you would think someone would listen to while playing the actual games. That is the music I listen to when playing the game and it is the music I listen to when writing that story. So I went through a time where it was sort of hard to control what I thought of what people were saying to me when they were flat out being rude because if they can send me a private message where they blatantly called me the worst writer in the world it was okay because I opened myself up to criticism.
Anyways, over that phase of anger, and they were right. I post on a public website and it does open me up to some of the best people in the world who offer great support for my stories, and it also opens me up to some very unintelligent people who think "constructive criticism" really means being an asshole just because they can. Okay maybe I am not over it haha. In other words, read my GOW stuff at your own risk. Just know I am in an angry place while writing it so that story just has a bit of a dark cloud over its head.
