Hello there, nice to meet you.
I like a lot of genres, but most of all fantasy. It rocks my world. Always has, always will.
Also, Dragon Age is great.
I haven't got around to play DAO till early in 2011, but it spoilt video gaming for me (I've been a Bethesda girl up until that point). It's such a rich universe with so distinct, interesting characters and conflicts, it's simply delightful. Funnily enough, it was the game that convinced me of the gloriousness that is archery, too - and now I couldn't imagine to play anything else in any game. I have to confess that I'm a die-hard Cousland fan - shock, horror, oh Maker, how boring, I know, but I love that family to bits -Bryce-Eleanor-Oren-Oriana-Fergus! - and I actually enjoy being a human in a fantasy setting. Not only because it was the first origin I played, but also because I found it my most fulfilling one and I've repeated it so many times I've lost count. My love for the Couslands may also have something to do with the fact that my stuck-up Cousland Warden was the only one I used to troll other characters with. But I digress. :)
I'm also fascinated by the city elves struggles to maintain their elven identity, while having to adapt to the human society their subjected to. No Dalish, mages - DA II ruined that or dwarves for me, at least not unless they're excellently written. If you take a look at my favorites list, however, you will find that there are truly fantastic Dalish stories that are close to converting me, even though it's never going to happen.
Anyway, I love to read DA stories of all kinds and I don't think I'll stop anytime soon.
