Author has written 6 stories for Stargate: SG-1, StarTrek: The Next Generation, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Worm, Rome, and Lexx.

I live in Atlanta with my wife, son, and two cats. Professionally I'm an Oracle database administrator who works for a giant US corporation. This means 80% of what I do is administrivia and 20% actual database work.

If you've ever seen the movie Office Space and all the nagging about the TPS reports... well, it's worse. We actually had a pointy-haired boss tell us he thought it was more important that we complete "training" in a timely manner (example: required re-reading of a slightly edited Code of Conduct policy) than, you know, support our customers.

Dilbert is real. One of the guys in the office bears a striking resemblance to Wally. It’s amazing.

I'm a big fan of Science Fiction in general, both the good and the cheesy.

SF likes include, in no particular order: Doctor Who, Red Dwarf, Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Lexx, Stargate, Firefly, Babylon 5, Farscape, Eureka, and many others.

More recently, Defiance and Continuum are starting to grow on me. For me, it’s fun to spot actors cycling in from other shows that, sadly, have fallen by the wayside.

Two things Defiance has going for it: Julie Benz, (Darla in Buffy the Vampire Slayer) as Mayor Amanda Rosewater, and Jaime Murray (H.G. Wells in Warehouse 13) plays Stahma Tarr, a woman clearly more ruthless and smarter than her husband. If you think Jaime Murray is hot in her bath scenes in Defiance, try looking for her in Spartacus. :)

(Yes, Julie Benz can also be seen in early Dexter, but I never got into that show. My wife likes it though.)

In the vampire category, likes include: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, True Blood/Sookie Stackhouse novels, Moonlight, Being Human (both UK and US). Sorry, Twilight doesn't do it for me. Vampires don't sparkle!

Miscellaneous likes: Game of Thrones, Rome (the HBO series), Burn Notice, Chuck, Covert Affairs, Lost Girl.

God that’s a lot of television. You’d think I was just a couch potato, but the above covers a span of many years, so there!
