I don't generally have very in-depth profile pages, just because, honestly, who wants to take time reading about me? That's what the fics are for! Really, everything I have to say is sort of "Rules to V. By": Thanks for stopping by, reading my stuff (if you do), reviewing it (if you do, and you should), and hopefully enjoying it (that's really up to you). I do requests. Preferably only in genres represented. Submit them in PM's. Note: I don't write explicit smut (not because there's anything wrong with it; I'm just shit at it, and I'll leave it to the professionals and your imaginations, you clever things, you), I do have favorite characters, and I get busy sometimes. I will never deliberately ignore you, and I respect all suggestions and requests, even if I reserve the right not to fill them. On reviews: I can take criticism. I welcome it, actually - that's how we learn. That being said, constructive criticism only, if you would. I don't mind you telling me the voice is off or there's a typo on paragraph 42, line 3, four words in (or, you know, something slightly less weirdly-specific). Or that I need to chill with the commas, because really, I need to chill with the commas. But telling me it would've been better if I'd used Character A instead of B doesn't help - that's what requests are for, and by that point, it's a bit late - or that it would've been better if it wasn't slash or h/c or *insert attribute here* because that's the kind of stuff that isn't really changeable. It's either a request or a personal choice. Basically: I've got wonky technique, my voice changes more times than a class of pubescent boys, and I don't currently have a Beta to sniff out my goofs for me. I'm proud of (most of) the plots I do, though, and the central elements of them, so please respect that. Last, but not least: stay awesome. |
